1. RK hasn't left. ( Everything is agreed, so all it needs is the final confirmation)I think ambition has many facets, and invariably one of those is likely to be money.
I don't view that as a bad thing necessarily, and in this case I think a few things:
1. RK hasn't left
2. He may leave
3. We don't know all the facts from all stakeholders
4. When he gave those interviews/statements was he genuine
5. Has he had a change of heart
6. Why would this be
7. Is he thinking he ca t take us forward
8. Why would he think this
9. Is that due to players going, ie Mane, Vic
10. Does he not have the budget he believes he requires
11. Why did Uncle Les put that strange interview about the negotiations, i know you said they're dammed if the do or ddon't and I agree
12. Les didnt need to go into that much detail
13. If RK is just taking the big bucks, so what, as perhaps many things have changed very quickly
14. I think we can get a better manager
15. PR is playing a far more significant role at the club, and rightly so as we are a violently growing brand
There is probably more but is not so easy tapping on my vitual tablet keyboard.
Good debates though tonight, i think i will try to contribute more often as it is helping me seek and see other views, that also supports my ambitious career...
Indeed. Studies have shown that the corraltion between more money and happiness goes up to around £50k/year. After that, it doesn't matter how much more you're earning, the salary has little effect on how happy you are.*I think I started this argument when it wasn't even what I meant. I wasn't saying rich or poor are more moral, but that the poor may have more of an excuse than te rich. The desire to double your wages from 10K to 20K is more understandable than feeling you need to increase your wages from 1 to 2 million.
It's not impossible he thinks we've reached our ceiling and believes Everton can be taken higher. I don't really care why he's leaving though.

Of course, it's not a widely know fact, so many still take bigger salaries as they think it'll make them happier. A recipe for disappointment, if ever there was one.
*This sounds unlikely, but think about it - on that money you get a stable life, can afford most things and far less stress than most on mega money. I'm on my phone, so I can't link to the actual paper, I'm afraid.
Yeah, I said days ago I think he's just gone for the money and that's worse than Pochettino. Like LTL I don't really hold it against him.Of course it's not impossible to think that, but it seems he was close to signing, turned Everton down and then changed his mind....
No - we need it to drag on a bit longer yet, just to see how big a thread which contains nothing new can actually get!! I reckon we could get into the Guinness World records at the rate we are going!Yeah, I said days ago I think he's just gone for the money and that's worse than Pochettino. I'm just getting a bit sick of the whole thing now. Feels like we're just going round in circles. It's time for him to leave so we can all move on.

That's very true, however utilising the liquidiser on the camel would allow the rich man to sneak into heaven with the caterers when they deliver the soupIt would be much harder for a rich man to get into heaven than a liquidised camel.
However, if you're suggesting using the liquidiser on the rich man then it would be a walk in the park to get him through the eye of a needle, but might not increase his chances of getting into heaven.
It would also make him easier to eat, which would be the best solution all round.
I think it's just got to the stage where nobody really has any **** left to give and are now just waiting to see who's next through the revolving door into the manager's officeFeels like this Not 606 board is going through the 7 Stages of Grief.![]()

Here's some news - yogurt dating isn't really dating, it's food sex. What, you've only just got to that point? You must have more stamina than me. Back to the yogurt dating. News would be good. Any news!

That's all a bit too well thought out and logical Channon, there's no call for that kind of behaviour on here - nobody likes a smartassJust a thought if anyone doubts that the impetus to leave is coming from RK rather than the club, consider this. If RK doesn't want to sign a new deal and the board says that he has to or will be sacked, then he can call their bluff. If the board sack him, then he is free to join whoever he likes and since there would be no compensation to pay there would be more money available for his salary. Obviously, the board wouldn't want a manager who wasn't committed to the job but RK just has to sit tight. It's obviously him who has pushed for this move.
