This is the exact reason I voted to remain, because of the unknown and the fact that a bunch of morons are taking us into that unknown.

They're putting every single person living in the UK at risk.

I believe and this is just my opinion that if there had been a vote for it to go back to the way it was meant at the start there would of been a massive stay in vote where the f uck did all the buraeucratic bastards come from, also something I can't get my head round we pay in £350m in a week and its common knowledge that we get a rebait of around £150 also we get around £100m from the euro back again so how can we be worse off if we end up with a £100m we didn't have before?

The drop in the pound will cost a lot more to businesses surely? It's easy to say it will recover, but surely the speed of the pounds recovery will depend on the quality of the deal we get. Given we're import dependent, we're not in a strong position.

Add to that the cost of living increase. I think both of those will amount to way more than 100m a week.

It's doable as I said which why i support the results, don't trust the Tories to get a good deal. :/

Mate I have worked in regeneration for most of my working life and the one thing that struck me, and showed me people didn't make an informed decision, was our respective areas.

Here I mean Sunderland and Stoke on Trent. These 2 areas overwhelmingly voted leave and yet have received the most money from EU to try and regenerate them.

Sure the incompetence of our local councillors, MPs and public servants may not look like it helped a lot but the kibey was there

Maybe 17,500,000 people just don't like being in the EU the way it is run now no other reason just that, I was quite happy to vote out even if I am worse off for some time I just hate the bastards and there grubby ****ing stealing ways they are in it for themselves mate and couldn't give a toss about me and you.

I'm 32 and the phrase cutting your nose off to spite your face springs to mind.

I don't for one minute think everyone who voted leave is a racist bigot. I have friends and family who did who folded when properly questioned as to why they thought it was good and now see the error of their ways.

What I meant was, the only reason leave won is because the vote was hijacked by rats like Farage with their racist anti immagration rhetoric and it called out to the millions of (lower than) working class people in this country and handed them the power to cast a vote on something huge than quite frankly should never have been decided by a public referendum

To clarify when you look at the detail then something like 87% of what we wanted happened in the EU and our vote is quite significant. We had autbourity hence why we don't follow shengen or adopt the euro.

The language part, and I am not saying you or my FIL, has generally been around nationality and sovereignty rather than economic and it is my belief that this has lead to the emergence of the far right. It's a very subtle change in language but farages language is being used by the like of le Penn and the far right in Germany with success. Its changed from outright and blanatant racism to pride and sovereignty but the same motives behind it.

Further to that the notion of "our country" won't really exist outside the EU because from the already existing NATO and use of French carriers to the demands the likes of India or China make with any trade deals we will always have to bow to external demands, the EU actually gave us authourity but we don't see it

What the EU puts into Sunderland blows away what our own government puts into the area. There's no way people in Sunderland would have voted out if they knew it surely? It defies logic.

People protesting Government decisions are people who know their democratic rights and are acting on it. I don't follow? I never said our government don't know how much they're putting in, i'm saying the EU currently invest way more into Sunderland than our government do.
