Shaw was shocking 2md half imo, got caught out of position so many times in the 2nd half - understandable as hasnt started a game since FebI thought Shaw tired second half and was stretched a lot. He did a very good job on Yamal first half though.

Spain looked well drilled to me, moved the ball well and probably could have won by a few more.
But that's why people have issues with Southgate. iF the lads injured you put him on the bench.
His performances in this tournament have been dreadful for the quality he has.
Southgate has these lads playing like his Boro team.
He clearly hasn'tHe has been ****e. Not interested in that stat when there has been a chronic lack of goals. Every game he has been **** and slowed us down.
Who had just had a stinker of a seasonShame we had a fit left back home in England in Chilwell.

As did Trippier, he still went and started out of position.Who had just had a stinker of a season

Genuinely wouldn’t have been against leif Davis goingShame we had a fit left back home in England in Chilwell.

Agreed. Walker will get a lot of the casual blame for the goals, but I thought he was hung out to dry on both, especially the first. the whole defence had moved across to cover the gaps on the left and Walker had no choice but to go to the man in the middle and Saka wasn't behind to cover him.
He was faultless in the first half, but his England career has ended on a devastating low. I feel sorry for him as much as anyone.

I think positionally Walker is poor as he thinks his pace will always get him out of danger.
Hopefully Reece James stays fit in years to come and make that position his.
