Unlucky lads

Best team won the comp imo, they deserved to win on the night

They have a team that really compliment each other, they pick players on form and how they'll get the best out of each other

England have so much talent that theyll get another chance with this generation. Got to pick a team that compliment each other tho

The best team won. Gutted but too many of our so called stars didnt even turn up to the tournament.
The fact we made the final in the first place was a major shock.

I think it was the style and structure that undone them.

It was like watching us under Jack Ross.

Best team won, not just in this match but in the tournament. We had our chances, but it wasn't to be.

Gutted for Southgate and the players, especially those who won't get another chance.

No doubt the usual bores will be out calling England "bottlers" and other nonsense now.

Been ****e all tournament because he has had to play off an ancient Harry Kane

It's not that mate, he's been having strop after strop all through the tournament ...

... loses this, kicks the water bottles and storms off down the tunnel.

Then comes back on and slumps on the turf having a cry.

In the meantime Pickford, who's running out of chances, stays on and applauds the supporters.

Bellingham reminded me of Rooney who also thought he was the top man of England.

We've been pretty poor for large chunks of every game and we came up against the best performing team in the tournament. Would have been a hammering if not for Pickford.

We need a new bloke on charge who can get the best out of this young team.

Agree with every word

What a ridiculous, immature comment to make

I disagree. The loyalty to him as meant we dropped performance and even tonight we wrote off 60 mins of a final due to it. Only time Spain looked under the cosh was when we took him off

Gutted, at 1-1 it really felt like it was there for us. I think we've cobbled together formations and results through the tournament and we just ran out of luck and came up against a team who will definitely punish you.

Proud of them for the way they've responded to adversity over the last few weeks

He's just a boy still who has to shoulder the expectations of the entire nation. He'll make mistakes, but he'll also learn and grow.
