Great mental strength from Ronaldo there to turn it around and drill it side net.

Portugal keeper done his homework on the pens. Immaculate.
Reminiscent of Gyan in 2010 I think it was

If we went to penalties and a single forward didn’t take a penalty I would be f*cking livid. Why on earth a CM then LB is taking your first 2 penalties is beyond me.

Here's my tournament maths:

England drew with Denmark who gave Germany a very good game and a narrow loss could have been a win if not for 2 minutes of narrow decisions.

England drew with Slovenia who also drew with Portugal, who hammered Turkey.

England drew with Slovakia who beat Belgium by the same margin that the French did.

France also beat Austria by the same margin, who beat the Dutch by a goal.

Belgium beat Romania.

Switzerland drew with Scotland.

Basically, other than Spain, everyone is as bad as England.

I enjoyed the game last night but its sad to see Ronaldo clinging on like this, bloke was a beast, one of the best of all time but he needs to hang up his international boots. His timing is off, his touch is gone, his legendary leap is gone and sadly I think his presence on the pitch is gone. Playing in a pub league at his age then trying to play at a major tournament is madness, players like him clearly love the game but retire gracefully !

Hopefully his last international games...

His manager should have the guts to tell him enough is enough and not pick him, take the retiring issue out of his hands.Simples

I dont think Martinez has the balls to do that, he will have half the country on his back if he does. Ronaldo knows he is done, the tears were out of frustration I think, its probably dawned on him his body cant do what the mind wants anymore.

Think he was making a ****ing gesture to one of his mates according to his X post. UEFA saying no further action.
Think this is rumbling on. Bellingham showing himself up here like, tarnishing his PR... or very Spanish, like the gesture their head of football made before his sacking for the inappropriate kiss.

I think it's a look at the size of my brass cojones thing. Can't say it particularly endeared him to me. Just childish stuff really.

He’s a young kid thankfully who should learn from this. He’s been carried away with the emotion for sure as I’ve seen him very respectful.

it was Declan rice I was in shock with for calling the Slovakian manager a baldy cu^t!
He seems such a nice chap ordinarily :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Didn't see that, safe to say emotions would have been run ragged in all of them.

Definitely and I’m pleased in a way (as long as they don’t let them overrun their performance)

I want them to be angry and wanting to shove it in everyone’s face because if they do we are benefiting cos we must be winning.
