I don’t understand why Trent is strolling around as if he’s never played in defence in his life. He’s a defender, playing in midfield yet looks like he has no idea how to close players down, it’s just a total waste of a shirt him being in there he’s on top of Rice half the time.
Has to be, the only logic I can make is that, if we continue to play that way, and qualify, and then 100% go for it in the ko stages, we might catch the opposition on the hop but I don’t think sir blinkalot is that clever

He’s a nice bloke. Sorted the culture out. He’s not a tactician.
It was poor decision making for me. He had a half chance from 25 yards rather play Kane through one on one.
This is 100% on Southgate. Sitting back and encouraging fookin Denmark to come at us so we can SLOWLY work our way through the press. Horrible to watch.
