I know it wasn't a full squad last night but England looked very poor. One paced and predictable. Sideways and backwards. Standard Southgate.

Wharton is frankly a phenomenal talent. Best complement I can pay him is he remind me of Xavi. He just has an absolute ease about the way he plays passes half a second quicker than anyone else. Makes it all look so simple.

There’s a decent argument for him starting alongside Rice imo. I don’t think he’d look out of place, at all.

I'd start him or Mainoo. I would have said Mainoo until last night but now I'm leaning towards Wharton.

Trent is simply not a midfielder.

My main concern is not having natural width at left back. The fact Tripper is pretty much our only option there (assuming Shaw doesnt get fit) is criminal.

Tyrick Mitchell or even Leif Davis not even being in the preliminary squad was poor for me. I don't think Trippier has been good enough at right back this season let alone left back.

Belgium 16/1

Latest Group prices show this -

If all Group favourites win their respective Groups, and...
If all Group second favourites finish runners-up in their respective groups...

William Hill are giving you - 600/1

WTF !!!

Surely it's worth a small £5 bet?

= £3,000

The only dodgy group is the group of death, Group B - Spain and Italy

Decent odds mate but there’s always a surprise or two! Can’t wait for the first game now :emoticon-0103-cool:

Seems odd to bin one player. Must be something to it but it just feels a bit humiliating.

That's not an official announcement though. Maybe if he's got a knock and not available for the final friendly, they've given him the news and the media got wind of it because he left.

I like Madison, he's an excellent footballer but we're stacked in that area and I think the general consensus is that Eze has played himself into the squad at his expense.
