Bloody hell. Thanks mate. You can choose the other 3 then <laugh>

Wasnt there talk of bigger squad sizes this time around? Or was that just for preliminary squads?
It is 26 this year, that squad has 33 in it:emoticon-0140-rofl:

I wouldn't like to pick the 7 that drop out

2 friendlies coming up against Bosnia and Iceland.

Does Southgate go with what he believes is our best side or does he use those games to trial the players who could potentially drop out of the squad? Interesting one.

Didn't know @Scout73 was a jock, best of luck my friend.

Very content with the England squad, but as has been said, reckon there'll be a few important lads dropped from that squad.

Would be a shame to not have lads like Wharton and Eze there.

They will surprise plenty I think. As talented a squad as Scotland have had for a while?
Missing a few key players, missing both 1st choice RWBs in Hickey n Patterson is a big blow. Even Ferguson out injured in midfield is gutting after the season he has had

We will be a sticky team to play against, but jjst dont think we have the goal threat to challenge the 3 teams in the group

I was actually born in England but i have lived my whole life in Scotland so feel more Scottish than English

I dont hate the English team like everyone up here does tho lol

England def have a cracking chance, just going to come down to how brave Southgate is when games are tight

Think it'll be 45 minutes of the 'first team' then experimentation in the other 45 in both games. Thats what I would do anyway

I’d be really disappointed to see Eze drop out. He’s class, would be a great option off the bench

Too many wide players for him sadly. Trafford, probably Shaw to injury, 2 of the centre halves, Maddison, probably Wharton although would like to see him go, and 1 other. My head hurts.

The most exciting England squad, in my opinion, since Italia 90. It looks frightening from an attacking perspective. Options galore. Southgate has made some big calls, correctly in my opinion, and he has me chomping at the bit for the tournament to get going.

Delighted to see Wharton and Mainoo in. Just more evidence of the brilliant work academies in this country do. Same with the likes of Branthwaite, who might well be the missing piece at the back alongside Stones.

I wouldnt like to have to leave 4 out personally. At a push I would leave Trafford, Quansah, Toney and Maddison behind. Maddison hurts me to say so, old school street footballer, but he hasnt been in good enough form sadly.

We're stacked in attacking positions, still nervous about the defensive unit. Shaw won't be fit and I don't think we've tested the right partner for Stones, who has had an injury hit season himself. Branthwaite is the one for me (though I don't dislike Maguire as much as others).

Those to miss out for me will be Trafford, Quansah, Jones, Eze, Wharton, Konsa and Maddison.

Southgate has made strong choices in leaving out Henderson, Rashford, Sterling, Phillips and Dier in my opinion.

I'm helping the bairn collect the Euro 24 stickers (definitely the bairns choice and not just a good excuse for me to relive my youth and waste £100:emoticon-0143-smirk).

Anyway, this made me chuckle a bit. Callum Styles apparently Hungary's 'Artist' :emoticon-0102-bigsm.

Not sure I'd even let him paint our garden fence based on his appearances for Sunderland.
