I think the whole SFA need a rethink. Their domestic game is a mess and that leaks into the national team. All the decent young players get snapped up by the big two and get lost in their setups as neither really promote that much youth because of their need to win every week and every competition.

Fetching Morgan on ahead of Forrest is criminal.

Anyone think it was a penalty? He's goal side with the player making contact while trying to pull on him. I thought VAR would have given it.

Was having a look at their squad the other day and noticed both Ferguson and Hickey were injured who will be massive losses for them but their squad on paper was quite poor otherwise. Checked players who are eligible to be called up and was quite surprised there wasn’t a lot of players from the PL.

Aye the strength n depth is really poor at the minute. Got lots of hard working players who will give everything but lack quality

Missing hickey is a big blow, even patterson is a miss as he fills in for hickey well. Ferguson was voted best cm in serie A but hasnt got good run out yet

We have some decent young players throughout the academies system in England now but its tough for them to break through at the top end

Gutted. Just not good enough across all 3 games. 95 mins to have a shot on target, diving when through on goal. This stings more than any of the others as that group had nowt special about it.

Scotland are an average side full of willing triers, but without any world class players. Stick a Bale or a Haaland in an average team and you have a chance. McTominay is Scotland's best player and he's an average PL player.
