I think they feel that way, not for the reasons you mention, but because they are fully aware there is a group of voters in their camp who were influenced by their xenophobia, and many of the Leave voters you mention either don't want to be associated as one of those, or don't want to admit to being one. Having said that, there were many many Leave voters for whom xenophobia didn't come into it, they just dislike the "EU machine" and believe we can do better on our own.
The country has many different people in it and of course many different views. I'm sure some people vote for reasons most people would find unacceptable. Both sides could find such people on the other side. I don't see that it is logical to dismiss a vote because you don't like the views of a small minority.

Or you are the racist one, look at yourself in the mirror.

Blame your old man, thats a good idea, at least he is the sensible one of your family.
He thinks black people and Muslims shouldn't be allowed in the UK.

You want to align yourself with that **** and call me a racist at the same time?

I can assure you brb, he wouldn't leave you in any doubt either! It's a shame as there is no basis for his views.

Fair enough and I would never deny racism exists and probably exists in both camps if you scratch the surface hard enough, I can only speak for myself and people that I know who show no inclinations of racism.

Neither do I, but then... I never said otherwise.

Agree completely. I can't stand ****ing arseholes who didn't vote 1) because they had a direct impact on the result, and 2) because they were too stupid or lazy to understand the implications. They have absolutely **** all reason to have a say now <ok>
It is a citizens democratic right not to vote if they dont wish to for whatever reason. People can have a say now but it not acceptable to want another referendum because they didnt vote in the first referendum.

So why would a black person not want black people in the UK?

and Muslims are not a race, they come from all walks of life.
He's not black.

I suppose he's bigoted rather than racist when it comes to Muslims. It's a technicality really. Do you agree with his views on Muslims?

Once again... I never said otherwise <laugh>

I dont care for anyone who believes in sky pixies, leave them to it.
Do you agree with his views on black people?

Bear in mind you said he was the sensible one and I am the racist.

Not that it's like you to comment on something you have no real understanding of.

That wasn't directed at you either but some people do cite that as one reason. Some don't even like older people voting a different way to younger people.

Yeh I heard that on another thread. Something along the lines of "younger people have their whole future and therefore should be able to decide it rather than the older generation who will be dead soon" I've heard that ****e on other things like prioritising treatment in the NHS. Truly awful thinking <doh>
