I dont care for any religion all the same to me, sky pixies, but leave them to it.

You cat spin very well Stan, so dont bother with it.
So you don't want the Muslims, the Jews, the Christians or anyone else who believes in any kind of god in the UK.

You're even more extreme than my old man!

You are a really sad boy, you cant spin at all, give it up.

I dont care for religion does not mean I dont want the here does it.

You really are a racist boy

Black people are just people, like you and me.
But you think my old man is the sensible one because he doesn't want black people or Muslims in the UK?

You're contradicting yourself all over the place Custard.

How do you feel about black Muslims or white Muslims or black Christians or white Christians? They all believe in "sky pixies".

Yeh I heard that on another thread. Something along the lines of "younger people have their whole future and therefore should be able to decide it rather than the older generation who will be dead soon" I've heard that ****e on other things like prioritising treatment in the NHS. Truly awful thinking <doh>
I think the NHS does have to prioritise treatment though because of financial constraints however awful we both think it is. If there's somebody 70 and somebody 7 and you can only save one life surely you would choose the 7 year old. I accept that the choices are not as black and white as that but it must enter into people's thinking some times.

What about Muslim or Christian black people?

I think you should have pinned him down on whether saying "Black people are just people, like you and me." holds true to someone being "the sensible one" for saying they shouldn't be allowed in the UK :)

But you support my old man's views?

And that makes me the racist?

Feel free to explain. Or you could just deflect? Or post a meme? Or tell me that if I don't like it maybe I should leave the UK?

They do, kids come first in general

Well that's a whole different debate. But that 70 year old has paid a lifetime of taxes so why shouldn't he/she be entitled to that priority. It is also ageism surely? How about looking at it on some other basis instead? Another ruthless but perhaps more valid basis is to prioritise on the basis of the probability of success or likelihood of treatment or even on cost. Those have their own controversy but aren't imo as detached and ruthless as basing it on age.

He's made his position clear on that.

He categorically said that someone who thinks Muslims and black people shouldn't be allowed in the UK is sensible and I should listen to him.

He's not trying to wriggle out of that by calling me a racist, presumably because he thinks I hate all whites!

According to the employer that I was listening to in the interview on Radio 4, he said that all of their jobs were offered to British workers, but he couldn't get any of them to do it on the wages that were being offered, so he uses migrant workers instead. From his perspective it was a simple economic equation.

Migrant workers tend to take the money they receive out of the UK economy. Many of the Polski Sklep's around here are actually owned by Bangladeshi's.

The model is flawed. It's a similar one that was used in the deep south of America, where plantation owners paid nothing to slaves. The end result was a collapsed economy, a there was no money in circulation and therefore no trade locally.
