Walcott is playing out of position to accomodate Kane.

Says more about the state of English football and the ability of Walcott than anything else.

Get him in the middle when he can affect the game even more. He's scored his goal from being in a central postion.

Unless I've misunderstood, you're doing this Steve Bruce thing of thinking everyone with some attacking ability is a forward. This lineup screams 4-2-3-1.

I was basing it on Woy's reluctance to play Barkley in an orthodox, deepish midfield role before tonight - he sees him as more of a 10. Indeed, he's only in there because Carrick got injured apparently.

He should be nowhere near this team. Rooney, Walcott, Vardy and even Danny bloody Ings should be ahead of him. Granted two are injured but he's done nothing to deserve this spot.

His lack of form; you mean cos MOTD said so? A bit like Benteke was utter rubbish last season when Villa were losing and not scoring, then he was ace again once they started winning. Kane might not have scored as many this season but he's been fine.

If you can name one "fine" thing he's done all season then I will be amazed.

Oh, and scoring an open goal from an offside position doesn't count.

I think you should just watch him play rather than just following the hype. There's a lot of good strikers in the PL, one if them was bound not to score for a few weeks and the media always make it seem like a crisis. Every so often it's Rooney. Even Aguero was ****e just over a week ago.
 
Probably because he's at least 5 times the player Vardy is.

It's like comparing Alan Shearer to Alan Johnson.
