If Man U want him back which wont happen they will sign him for peanuts. They put buy back clauses in all the kids they sell so if they do become good players they can have them back for next to nothing. We will have the same with Drinkwater, James and De Laet like you will with Stewart, Evans, Dudgeon, Chester

Im not saying Chester is a bad player because he is a very good player but he isnt as good as you lot make him sound. If teams are going to pay 4M for a defender from this league Curtis Davies would be alot better bet

If he was worth 4 or 5 million then he would have at least been in the nPower Championship Team of the year let alone player of the year in a team that finished 8th.
Also Alex Ferguson wouldn't let him go for 300k if he was going to be worth 15 times that after one and a half seasons.

And before they go they only pick players who finish in the top 6 the year before we finished 10th and had Andy King and Kyle Naughton in their.

Chester is good but not as good as you think

If he was as good as you make him sound then he would be playing week in week out next to Rio Ferdinand at Man U. He will probably even be with England at the Euros now.

Im saying Ben Marshall is better then Lionel Messi and if you debate that i will just say how can you say that considering you havent seen much of him.

I haven't said anything about what he's worth, I'm just saying we watch him week in and week out, you lot don't, you are therefore not in a position to dispute if he's as good as we say he is or not. Your knowledge of him won't improve next season either, as you'll once again only see him play once of twice.

And your comment about him not being in the team of the year is ridiculous, you think there's only 11 good players in the Championship?

Put it this way. He is about on par with Jack Hobbs. We have seen Jack Hobbs play alot more then you, and I think Jack Hobbs is a quality centre half before you get your knickers in a twist

When ever we faced Hull we didnt really have a go at their back line because we had 10 men both games and was holding on. Chester is decent but by no means is he a world beater. Even Fat head knows that

But a 5 million quid Centre Half would surely be in it. Let alone be his own clubs player of the season ****ing hell.

I would not presume to tell you which is the better of your centre halves, as I simply haven't seen enough of them to make a judgement.

Chester is better than Hobbs and that's from someone who's been at pretty much every game that either of them has ever played for us. Now if, having seen him a couple of times you feel qualified to contest that, by all means go ahead, but it doesn't half make you look rather ridiculous.

Another thing.


We had the best defence one season with Paddy Kisnorbo, Gareth McAuley and two teenagers in Joe Mattock and Richard Stearman.

They're hardly ****ing world beaters <doh>
