I've got an interview on Thursday so I've had a cracking day today
I didn't see the Healey brothers, he was sat with his wife outside his box behind the Directors box seats and I was sat right in front of him during the Tom Chaplin set, then I went and took my seats on the floor. He looked well, and I saw him after ELO back upstairs, he drove home in his Roller about 12.45.With the Healy brothers ?

Good
Unfortunately, not good enough, I think that was below what was required to break even.
Looking around I couldn't see many empty seats, I don't know what the capacity would have been but it looked very close to capacity. If they lost money with that sort of level of attendance then they pitched the prices too low.
I can't remember exactly, but the capacity was 24-25,000 and they needed a bit shy of 20,000 to break even.
As far as I could see the wings where the only place you could have got more in, and frankly the view from there would have been ****e anyhow, as with the size of the set, I noticed it seemed to take up much more space than the Rod Stewart gig, as it seemed further forward.
The attendance for the Rod Stewart gig was 25,000.
I may be wrong, but it looked to me that the stage was further forward, and there wasn't as much room for seats on the pitch area. In addition the seating in the wings was also less because of this. So the capacity looked less than for Rod Stewart, but there again that was just my perception, so I might be wrong.
Having had to listen to well over an hour of the planning meeting for the gig, as part of the last SAG meeting, I can assure you that I'm correct.
