Probably, I quite often see them mentioned in the local rag regarding various stories to do with the KCC.
Can never be arsed to read them though. Think it always use to be Tory for a very long time. Although I'm sure I remember KCC being bust before Reform got anywhere near it.
So, so far, the Reform led council have taken down loads of England flags and now stopped 50 immigrants from leaving. I'm sure the universe runs on irony.
KCC would have had nothing to do with Immigration control or the NCA, they would receive funding for support services ie refugee kids etc. No idea on the flags.
According to Reuters they allowed 70,000 Afghans in, so good luck with their revetting procedures lol

So it must have been an act aimed directly at Trump - especially as only the previous night I saw the president boasting on TV how safe he had made Washington DC.
Makes me wonder if the shooter saw that same televised rant.
Yep and a grand job they appear to doing. Reported that they already have a £46m funding gap and they have just handed a 21 year contract to a company called Ringway for road repairs etc.
I didn't know anything about when the guy came in, not something that crossed my mind, Trump blames Biden for everything. Although I had assumed he had been living in the States for a while when they mentioned on the news he had a family etc and had travelled across several states.
I originally thought probably some local Washington lowlife had gone out and shot the guards at first, because of what Trump said on TV, I never even gave it a thought it might be a refugee that did it.
It's not a good look though if as you say he has come in recently, talking about biting the hand that feeds you, and now Trump will be an arsehole and put all Afghans through the mill.
Martial law incoming, I wouldn't put anything past the ability of Trump, although if he does it means he is completely contradicting himself on what he said on TV regarding Washington DC - and yeah he's ordered 500 troopers or whatever they are called, getting ready for his forthcoming dictatorship Putin style.
I must be missing part of this story, what gives him the right to do what he did?
It's an illegal army put on the streets for purely political reasons by an authoritarian, pretty much exactly what the 2nd amendment is all about.
Ah I see, the attacker is supposed to be under 'heavy armed guard' when I last listened to American officials chatting about it - It wouldn't surprise me if he meets with a misadventure.
