I used to work in a school which was about 300 yrs old. It was in a deprived run down area and falling to bits, and I mean that literally, parts of it were genuinely dangerous, so we applied for a grant. When the final allocations came out we were declined but two of the local grammar schools which I was familiar with and had no pressing concerns received about 300k each.

Spent hours helping my mum fill out the forms to claim Mobility Allowance. She’s always moaning about my cousin who’s on Sickness Benefit, or whatever it’s called now.

I saw that on tv earlier, I didn't have the sound up, but psmsl just watching it happen. Visually best one of the campaign so far.

well Mobility Allowance got renamed as Disability Living Allowance (Mobility component) under John Major and sickness benefit , for reasons beyond me , is called Employment Support Allowance ,
Would assume your Mum is too old to claim DLA tbh

Think it’s called Attendance Allowance. Because she needs help from carers to get herself up and dressed in the morning
