This didn't help with 92 the night before the vote. It's funny watching Labour always so worried about past election fck ups. They will do everything not to seem over confident, to the point they go out of their way to like nervous wrecks. They won't put any detail on much policy to the point they lack any sense of inspiration or conviction in anytjing they propose. And then there's this extreme belief borne out of 97 that all that matters is getting into power regardless of wtf you stand for to the point the whole party's direction is being dictated to placate the right and they're becoming clones of the buffoons currently in charge. In moderation all those things are understandable but the extent to which they're "carrying thr Ming vase" is massively disappointing. A party that's now constantly looking backward rather than looking forward isn't going to inspire the electorate.
one day these people will realise (by my reckoning the) majority of the country are "on benefits" it is just most people don't count half of them .
People like the benefits of a modern society until they see something they don't like. I know what types they're talking about. The fat mum with green dyed hair and leggings waddling along. but that's not all people on benefits.
Yeh it's more straw man bollox. Private school fees have gone up extortionately over the past ten years and zero fcks were given, but withdrawing their tax status and all of a sudden it's a big deal. Meanwhile over 4 million children living in poverty, a criminal shortage of special schools for SEND children, and massively under-resourced state schools to meet the demand. All the private schools closing have fck all to do with Labour's plans. Many were hit by the lockdown and never recovered. The ones that survived are largely finishing schools for the children of oligarchs.
there is a very old private school tn rhe area and that is certainly feeling the squeeze as is shown by the massive expansion in their sports facilities.
From 2008-2010 our local Catholic school had so much money they expanded the entire school. All brand new. Extra dosh from the popery you see.
This is his opponent. The real bants would be if the vote gets totally split and Labour sneak it. Though I’m not sure many in Clacton will vote for someone named Jovan Owusu-Nepaul.
