I used to work in a school which was about 300 yrs old. When the final allocations came out we were declined but two of the local grammar schools which I was familiar with and had no pressing concerns received about 300k each.

well Mobility Allowance got renamed as Disability Living Allowance (Mobility component) under John Major and sickness benefit , for reasons beyond me , is called Employment Support Allowance , Would assume your Mum is too old to claim DLA tbh
