I quite like Mahmood, and I can see the potential bantz trigger effect of her becoming PM. She always comes across as quite calm and serious, never mouthing off, respectful, probably too much good criteria there to be a PM in this world.
Yeah I've decided she's defo my pick of the bunch. I can't take anyone else seriously enough. And I think her going head to head against Badenoch in the house, would be must watch tv. 
He would be a terrible appointment simply because he’s not very likeable.
I always thought Rishi Sunak got a raw deal. He seemed a steady pair of hands at a time when the Tories were constantly chopping and changing. He was backed up by Hunt, who I don’t particularly like but he done a good job at getting the economy back on track after the Kwasi disaster.
I think his skin colour was always a problem for too many and I suspect it would be the same for Mahmood. Her name would go against her.
Rishi is a bit like my youngest, he can crunch numbers quickly in his head, you don't need a calculator their brains are it, which is why Chancellor always suited Sunak, and he would know if someone was spinning bollocks with the economy - only trouble with him, he was a bit stuck in his ways, when he saw something, he would often only calculate one path, the one he knew, if he had to think outside the box he was ****ed, and that ****ed him as PM, because his support package was a bunch of drips.
Lammy has said he was not aware vetting was overruled until this afternoon.

Badenoch comes across as someone who just shouts louder than others, whist not accepting that at least 75% of the mess this country is in came from her own party whilst in government.Yeah I've decided she's defo my pick of the bunch. I think Rishi’s biggest problem was his wife’s wealth which came mostly from lucrative contracts her family had with the government.
This is also coupled with people expecting immediate change, largely being driven by the media, and if this change isn’t immediate looking for someone else to blame. You’ve only got to go and look at the GC thread to see the “it’s all the fault of immigrants”rhetoric.
Broadly agree with your take on Starmer.. he's the most uncharismatic PM of my lifetime ... at a time when we need a PM that is a mix of Chuchill, John Smith and Ken Clarke... also agree with you about Farage, like him or loath him, he is a smooth and consumate orator...
Don't mind Davey a bit nuts but comes across as a good bloke... but Badenoch is bloody awful ... even if there is a potential point to be made she somehow seems to be able to **** it up ...
Don't know much about Mahmood - but really like what she has done since appointed - but too soon for the top gig IMHO
Sunak also suffered (again IMHO) because it was difficult for a financially struggling public to take austerity advice from a man married to a billionaire's daughter ... a woman who avoided paying UK tax ...
