Yet the most ardent boycotters posting on here are still refusing to attend games. So are they waiting not for an apology, of which they've had, or a winning team to support ?

If somebody breaks into your house and starts smashing it up, does it make it all better if they apologise? What about if they did it every Saturday for four years and then apologised?

Sometimes, an apology isn't enough. We voiced our opinion at the time and it was pretty clear to even the stupidest of ****wits that we didn't want the name changed and we didn't want any of their bullshit ideas. He can't now turn around and say "sorry" as if that suddenly makes up for years of crap.

Harold Shipman must have been kicking himself as he was led away to prison, obviously hadn't occurred to him that he just needed to apologise to those families and everything would have been fine.

FFS its football, not housebreaking or murder, its football, a game, entertainment, and if your going to fall out with every owner of the club because every thing they do doesn't tick your boxes then you are probably in the wrong pastime..

Which is presumably precisely what people not attending matches have concluded.

And if you're going to take every analogy literally, you're just going to keep missing the point.

I didn't fall out with the Allams when they took over, but then they didn't do anything ****ish for the first year. I don't disagree with everything the Allams do or did, but they've done enough to make sure that I want their next **** to be a combine harvester.

<laugh><laugh><laugh> Combined harvester.

Yep, that's how it works. Folks have been staying away for 4 or 5 years, just waiting for a 40 game unbeaten run. Then they'll be back in their droves, ending their boycott just as it begins to bite.

You know, I have a lonely friend who is affable enough, but he's a **** and has absolutely zero respect for you or anybody you purport to care about, and I think you may make him an excellent life partner. He's worried he can't find someone who's not into oral but I've assured him I've found some dude on the internet who can suck it. Suck it real good and is happy to swallow.

PM for details.

Apology?
Are people really taking what he said as a genuine honest apology for all the ****ish tricks they've pulled (and are still pulling). Really? **** me.

Shouldn't this be on the Mental Health Awareness Week thread ?
Sounds like a call for help to me.

You can make an attempt to insult me, you're unqualified to do so, but I'm not sure you should be having a dig at an unrelated worthwhile thread.

Have you forgotten that you made a pathetic attempt at posting a funny reply ?
Which made you sound like a ****ing idiot who's just got in from the pub.

"Hull is in the dark ages" was a David Lloyd gem, much like Assem's "die when they want" or Fish's "some supporters, let's call them that, will soon shut up when they see the quality of football on offer" (then Scunthorpe United rolled up at BP), Hinchliffe changed the badge much like Assem did and even Uncle Don thought we played in amber black and red, moving to the Boulevard was a Wilby gem much like Assem's move to Melton, flogging the railway nameplate was a Fish pearler, Allam moved fans to different stands, Fish had the Bradford City fiasco.
Of course those boycotting now also boycotted in those days and with good cause, although of course it had nothing to do with results or league position.

But at least it was funny, yeah?

I keep thinking you're going to have some kind of argument like a rational human but nope, never happens.
