Oh was just gonna post the same thing.

None of it is surprising, he can hope it’s sold in six months all he likes. If they’re genuinely trying then fair play, but as the interviewer says, it’s been five years.

I also find the ST big very disingenuous, like they’d have any other agenda than what’s best for the club.

Ehab does seem less arrogant here, acknowledging mistakes & poor communication.

Feels like a new charm offensive - new PR person in place???

It's an interesting interview. Phil Buckingham does an excellent job and doesn't pull any punches, and I think that Ehab comes out of it better as a result. The powderpuff stuff they've insisted on in the past meant that you were just reading propaganda, which simply insulted your intelligence and raised your hackles as you went deeper and deeper into it. This is different. Obviously I still have many issues with the club owners and many of the answers that lie within this interview. Their fan engagement - and failures on that score - go way beyond a fractious relationship with the HCST. But it would be churlish to deny that improvements to the way in which the club has been run have been made of late. Have they gone far enough? No. Will the splits that the Allams' actions created ever be fully healed? No. But we do, at least, seem to be heading in a more positive direction, and progress is something to welcome, however gradual it is.

They say you can’t polish a turd Richard. Perhaps he is starting to realise that at last. He will be a better bloke for it.

Agree that 'progress' is something to welcome.
But there is one reason, and one reason alone, why we are seeing some positives.
I could pick many of his answers to bits, as most of us could. But it would bring nothing new, nothing that most of us don't already know. Suffice to say, he hasn't and won't change. Quill calls him well.

Whilst going rapidly backwards on the pitch!

Apologies if this has already been posted.

What are your thoughts Gents / Ladies

So we are back in The Championship, and have been for a couple of seasons, it's where we where when the Allams stepped in.

Well done Ehab, you settled creditors when you acquired the club for c£24m to avoid administration/liquidation. You've managed to get debt down over the last 12 months from c£88m down to £50m, well done, thats still c£26m more than when your family took over! Attendances and memberships are down as is revenue, and continuing to fall!

Do we have assets that we didn't have 9 years ago, better academy training facilities, higher playing squad value? No!

Excellent management!

Actually we do.

I wonder how many more millions the daft bastard at Hillsborough will spaff on his vanity project?

Will they be queuing up to buy the club when he sells it?
