"Hull is in the dark ages" was a David Lloyd gem, much like Assem's "die when they want"

Nothing remotely similar, neither a reason why people are currently boycotting.

or Fish's "some supporters, let's call them that, will soon shut up when they see the quality of football on offer" (then Scunthorpe United rolled up at BP),

Why would anybody boycott for those comments? Nothing remotely similar to anything the Allams have done or said.

Hinchliffe changed the badge much like Assem did

Did he lie beforehand “I will never change the colour, I will never change the logo, I will never remove Hull, I will never remove Tigers. These words were there for many years. The colour of the club, amber and black, is there. The logo is there. That's for the fans and I will never change this without consulting the fans.”

and even Uncle Don thought we played in amber black and red,

Did he?

moving to the Boulevard was a Wilby gem much like Assem's move to Melton,

Ended well for him, didn’t it? How many were going in them days?

flogging the railway nameplate was a Fish pearler

Is that comparable to putting up kid prices up by nearly 2000%? Have a word with yourself.

, Allam moved fans to different stands, Fish had the Bradford City fiasco.

****s trick, a one off call by the plod. Maybe the plod insisted on concessions for pensioners, kids & disabled people being removed.?

Of course those boycotting now also boycotted in those days and with good cause, although of course it had nothing to do with results or league position

Some weren’t born you gormless ****. People today aren’t the soft touch yes men of yesterday. I’ve heard there’s a few of them left hanging around reminiscing of the glory days of Stanley knives & inflatable bananas.

.

Allam has out trumped all of those combined.

Just listened to the interview. I think he sounds less bullish than during previous interviews. Not sure what that means if anything. Anyway best of luck with the sale.

F off both E + A Allams

Theirs no going back for supporters around here now there's no bus running thanks to the Allams.

And as I said before the results of games had nothing to do with it

Only 4 people still go from around here that I know of , one takes the other 3 in his car.

Some of the old blokes were 10+ years older then me and struggled to get to the bus station in Filey and had been going since before me.

Does anyone have any stats on the percentage increase in our away support since thousands of fans started boycotting home games?

If there was enough genuine interest in Filey and district for a bus for city games I'm sure one would be put on by EYMS who are not exactly burning any bridges customer wise lately. Or some enterprising person would hire a mini bus and drive you all there back for a reasonable ( and profit making) fare.
I cannot see how it is the Allams fault.

I’m not certain at all of the ins and outs but did city, the club, run a bus from Scarborough then??

Circular argument though
If you accept that it’s the Allam’s fault that people don’t want to go (I know you don’t fully accept that mind you) then the people in Filey who have been put off by them means there won’t be enough interest for a minibus

But surely the interest should be in Hull City and football, not the Allams ? I know EYMS run a bus from the villages beyond Beverley, a double decker which passes through Cottingham with hardly any ****er on it, and back after a game. Surely if it was better advertised, or advertised at all, more people might use it ?

As you know some people have been put off going to City by the Allams, some have gone off league football completely and the Allams have tipped them over the edge and the average age is older so there bound to be some getting too old (or sadly too deep in the ground!) to go and there’s not a lot coming to replace them (Some come and go with success on the pitch, but I’ve ignored them as I assume we’re talking about some hardy souls who went through thin and thinner)
So it isn’t as simple, for everyone at least, to say it’s just about Hull City and not the Allams.
I do go, but I did boycott for a short while myself, and that was only due to the Allams.

On the bus side though, I don’t really know where they run but I’d be surprised if they go to Filey. They could do with more publicity in general though I think (clearly if neither of us know then that’s a sign)

I know from this time last year when the Not 606 gang planned to go to a Scarborough game, the bus service was ****e and we couldn't do it.
So I’m asking was this a specific hull city bus? Put on by the club? Or did eyms just decide it wasn’t viable and stopped it??
