He just seems to back himself further and further into a corner. I do think there is some merit in giving him one 'last' chance to assess if he really does want dialogue. It wouldn't do the trust any harm either way, in fact it would provide a positive response to some of the doubters. Step forward the trust?

I assume the directors of the Trust will be meeting (or maybe already met !) to discuss the YP article and if another invitation to discuss with the club is tendered.
 
Regards Radio Humberside, Sportstalk did cover the story in some detail last night. The geezer from Tigerlink was in the studio and Geoff Bielby was interviewed by telephone. James Hoggarth was forthright in his views (and spot on) and stated that they had contacted the Club to follow up the Yorkshire Post piece but were told Ehab was "not available for interview". Hoggarth then read out the questions he was going to ask Ehab (but couldn't), one of which was asking why Ehab will not engage with the local radio station and answer questions that are put to him. James did a good job to be fair - but clearly Ehab is not prepared to talk to them.

My issue is how long has it taken the Hull Daily Mail and Radio Humberside to challenge the Allams?

Time and time again they had the chance too but they didn't. If they had challenged them earlier, I doubt a boycott would be needed. The issue hasn't gained national attention because even the local news haven't really challenged the Allams.

Ehab's interview was very much the usual ramblings. You won't find us scrambling around for a reaction to it. Most of it is best ignored. As you suggest though, we'll be reiterating to Ehab our invitation to talk with him.

If it's just specific ones then yes, good idea.

If it's all of them they're pretty much asking to be ignored. Justifiably too.

How many HCST directors have you actually ever come across? I can't imagine you would know the first thing about most of them.

Obviously you have this big thing about me, whatever, but the rest don't post on here.

I honestly don't think it's worth talking to Ehab. I do like the idea of the trust requesting an interview with the Yorkshire post and putting over our side of the story.
Is that going to happen PLT?

I think so yes, but there isn't much that really needs replying to. It'll be more about reminding him of the effort to talk.

Media hedging their bets nothing new, everythings when it suits them as a business not supporting outraged fans as and when
