By calling others "precious" you gave me the impression that you didn't consider their concerns nor the impact of early leavers other than defending their right to leave when they want. As I have already said I couldn't give a damn whether people leave early or not, it's their choice, but I think it's disingenuous to call people precious for holding an opinion you don't agree with
Others have been OTT on it. So far as to question my level of support because of it. I think they are precious about it, at least they behave that way on here in my opinion. For some there is no grey area here, everyone who isnt clapping at the end such eff off etc.
I left at 74 mins, I should have left at half time. We were dross. I don't think it's a click and turn on job, for the playoffs.
Didn’t realise we’d changed the chant from Sunderland til I die to “Sunderland-til-the-74th-minute-when-we’re-playing-****e” I but will bear it in mind for future
Yeah me too mate. I think anyone that thinks we'll click a switch and turn it on for the playoffs is deluded.
My memory is not as good as it used to be but I know we’ve been written off before games, no hopers, many times over the years, only to turn up on the day and claim victory from guaranteed defeat.
We were as good as relegated when di Canio took us to SJP ... ... absolutely destroyed Newcastle on their own pitch. please log in to view this image
What I mean is, that we will know within 5 mins of KO on Friday whether this team can switch it back on
Coventry lost to two 'relegated' teams then switched on for Boro ... ... and that was when they were desperate for points. Bristol and Sheffield lost games then 'switched' on but not fully. Teams can play well then badly then well again ... no reason we can't with the talent we have.
I really hope so. 5 defeats and 7 or 8 pretty poor performances have left me feeling really low about our chances. Having said all that, we are absolutely capable of beating Coventry and Sheff Utd
Might be a cagey one mate. First legs sometimes are. It is up to Cov to bring the heat really, but I would love to see us tear into them early. Just doesnt seem the Regis way though. A dull 0-0 might be the game for us.
Honestly mate, I know we've really backed off recently but as I've said Coventry really needed to beat Plymouth and Luton. They lost at Luton with ZERO shots at goal and conceded two goals. They had around 75% possession at Plymouth, managed three shots and conceded three goals. They managed to switch back on for the Boro game but they're not exactly Leeds are they ... ... we can beat them.
