No. I'm generally watching the TV through hands and fingers.

Not having a go at early leavers really just find it slightly odd to do it every game.

Not saying I've never left early as I have but if the games in the balance I just find it strange to miss the critical part of what you have paid for and already invested a lot of time in attending.

I get it mate. In my younger days and when I lived local I was there till the end all the time, relatively so anyway. I remember an away day at Port Vale, we were really woeful, I sat in the stands thinking what a bunch of tossers we had, and the stewards had to move me along <laugh>

I just think some folk will have their reasons. I do. I generally leave when the ball has gone out, but if it took me a while to get to the end of the row and there was a rapid attack I would probably stop and cheer. It is a fans nature. If I got abuse from behind I would give it back because I am a gobshite, according to most <laugh>

That's my point, you're blocking the view of people who want to continue supporting the team and watch the game ...

... you wouldn't block the view, if you were watching in a pub, so why do it at the game?

I've no problem with people going if they have better things to do tbh.

I know. I try to avoid it by picking a time. Sometimes though it doesnt work. Some folk are a bit slow to let me pass, and the counter is on. Fans reaction kicks in and I roar them on. I struggle to keep moving, or apologise, in that circumstance to be honest.

If you’re away early today, just make sure you aren’t blocking Smugs view lads

Would never have you down as an Early Leaver, however, our circumstances are completely different. I live SR6, so in 20 minutes walking distance.

Leeds never seem to suffer from embarrassing early leavers?

Was ****e support generally though, they didn't actually support their team just reacted to them scoring. All I heard from them all match was taking the piss out of Patto at goalkicks.

Maybe ****e support, but no embarrassing early leavers. Stands were packed 5 minutes after the final whistle. You could see their players feeding off the energy. Whereas, at our home games, our players trudge round the ground for a lap of honor from my lad, me and a few hundred applauding. Totally embarrassing

I've banged on about this for a good while....the atmosphere at our home games isn't as good as some would have you believe.
Numbers don't necessarily equate to atmosphere. I've been to hundreds of away games, when we were 2 or 3 thousand, which created more atmosphere than 40k at home matches.

Having a go at fans for leaving early is wrong.

I tend to stay until the end unless my 72 year old dad needs to beat the queues in the east stand to get the bus, as its once an hour on an evening. My dad getting out and home safely is infinitely more important than seeing the end of a game, plenty of things are and everyone has their reasons.

You pay for a ticket, you can leave when you want.

Also the atmosphere began to deteriorate when the away fans moved into the gods.

Disagree, you are letting the team know you are not supporting them in the final few minutes. Live with it

Its one of the worst in the country currently, can hear a pin drop most of the time. Not having a go either as I’m part of the crowd

Not sure I am in this case. It’s horrific, doesn’t help having the away fans where they are
