    Just found this.

In 1996, when Pinas was playing for the reserves of Feyenoord, he was discovered by Newcastle United at a youth tournament in Groningen. Pinas would stay in Newcastle for two seasons, but he never made a first team appearance for the team. Pinas eventually returned to Feyenoord because of the lack of playtime and the departure of his best friends at the team, Faustino Asprilla and Jon Dahl Tomasson.

On his arrival at Newcastle in 1998, Pinas was ridiculed by The Sun newspaper with regards to his surname's closeness to penis. [1] The editorial joked that if Pinas was ever addressed by a referee, it would be the first time that a referee had been sent off for using foul language.

    No it was John Edrich.

Not that I'm one to name drop or owt but I occasionally walk the dogs with Jonathan Agnew who's my neighbour. I'm sure he tells his pals that he occasionally walks his dogs with jimileysbaldhead, the bloody name dropper.

I am sure there was a manager called SHIRTLIFF for one of the lower league sides, and there's a rugby player called CHUTER (chutter, dunno if anyone else abbreviated the euphemism 'chutney ferret' to 'chutter' or maybe its just us haha)

Peter Shirtliff was a decent defender who played in the topflight for Sheff Wednesday. think it might have been before Premier League days. As you say, he's also been a manager.

"Roberto López Ufarte (born 19 April 1958 in Fes, Morocco) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a forward.

Nicknamed The little devil, most of his career was spent at Real Sociedad (12 years, nearly 500 official games). His parents (from Catalonia and Andalusia) moved abroad in search of work, and returned to Irun (Basque Country) when their son was eight.

Ufarte represented Spain at the 1982 World Cup."

Goodwillie is my favourite. Especially after he was accused of having a bad willy.

    Rod Fanni is a classic.

Stefan Kuntz footy player and Rusty Kuntz Baseball player

This baseball player from back in the mist of time must have had to be careful - Jack Glasscock

    Gregor ****a - basketball

    Dick Trickle - racing driver

And one which always makes me chuckle - Quim - portugese goalie
