its tough, but he is behind fox and luke shaw will probably displace him too.think this is the last year of his contract anyway
To me it sounds like some other club (Yeovil?) have decided not to take him on loan, for "business reasons".

It has been mentioned in a few articles that Dickson has become out of the reach of clubs who would be interested in him. It's an interesting and unfortunate circumstance to Saints being promoted in subsequent seasons, and that has made his price rise. He won't go hungry, and a championship club may take him on if Saints are willing to share the cost. Personally, I think he does need games, and he needs to concentrate on improving himself, to get noticed.
I don't think he'd of thrown a strop for nothing, yes he acted out but to take such a substantial chunk of a footballers career away because we had to win is incredibly selfish of the club.
Just because Saints stock has gone up does not make dickson a better player, it's obnoxious of the club to be keeping him at his own will when we have 3 left backs who'd be played ahead of him. At the very least we should loan him out.
And Fran I didn't say that Nigel was ignoring him. I said he stuck him in the reserves after 1 or 2 matches. Bringing him on for the last few moments of a game we'd already sewn up is not using him to his best ability, he has got bags more ability than De Ridderor Chaplow, so in a game that was so important to us he should have started.
It's hard to pick specific examples but our whole attitudes to contracts and player negotiations seem a tad arrogant.

Oh no poor Dickson he only has to sit there on around 8k a week. Have you even heard both sides of the story?, no you haven't. Anything could have happened, if he wants to play that bad ask for a transfer? Or terminate his contract himself. Oh wait he probably doesn't want to give his 8k a week up.
That's the whole point though he is fine to go and play at a lower level the clubs not letting him go. Why mess up one players career we're rich enough to lose a couple of 100k in transfers. You're right anything could have happened on either side neither of us know the full story.
You guys are all talking about terminating the contract which cost a lot, even for a footballer. Furthermore you'd have to imagine that any potential suitors wouldn't be keen on signing a player who has previously terminated his contract.

Instead of moaning about it on Twitter, why doesn't he get his head down and try to impress the manager or watching scouts to prove he is worth the value?
Not Premier League standard by a long shot, but this should be kept in house
