He wants a ticket, not a wife Vern!!I have always found the ladies in the ticket office to be very obliging.
I suggest giving them a ring.

If Vern got married,He wants a ticket, not a wife Vern!!
Does anyone, outside of young children, not own a mobile phone in the uk?
Can't get a landline in these parts anymore as the company hasn't maintained the old copper lines for a decade now, due to lack of demand.
I think it's mandated in the UK that telecoms providers have to offer a landline, so even where they don't lay copper at all any more such as in new build houses, they still provide a VoIP phone which uses the fibre connection, and I think those have to have a backup power supply so that they'd still work in a power cut like an old style landline would.
You are correct Jock and a ticket will be much cheaper than a wife.He wants a ticket, not a wife Vern!!
It's destiny Vern,it's written in the stars...South stand,Blackburn game, sitting next to a fattie(that's me I'm talking about).I can't justify buying a pass as I don't get to enough games to warrant the purchase.
Plus I don't want to get stuck next to a fattie or gobshite for a full year.
The prices for both south and north stands represent good value for money.
My first fixture will be Blackburn and I will be in the south stand.
The north stand appears to be full of adolescents who are intent on watching the visiting support rather than the match.
If I appear to be an adolescent then you ought to pop to Specsavers on the way to the game!!!I can't justify buying a pass as I don't get to enough games to warrant the purchase.

Try drifting between south and west Gaza.I drift between south and west upper![]()
Not sure that's true. BT are switching to digital home phone lines i.e. through your router, and they say it won't work in a power cut so anyone classed as vulnerable has to get in touch presumably to get a backup battery or some such.I think it's mandated in the UK that telecoms providers have to offer a landline, so even where they don't lay copper at all any more such as in new build houses, they still provide a VoIP phone which uses the fibre connection, and I think those have to have a backup power supply so that they'd still work in a power cut like an old style landline would.

Probably, but you have to ask for it, it's not automatic.
