Derby predictions

That's my feeling, and i'd also take that result.
Both coming back from bad results respectfully.
Buzzing for the derby, shame i won't be attending this year.

 

Think it will be a close one, got a feeling for 2-1 Newcastle with goals from Ba and Ameobi for Newcastle and Sessegnon for Sunderland. Think it could be a key week for Newcastle especially if they win and other results go for them.

 

My heart says 2-1 to us. My head says 2-1 or 3-1 to them.

We are a bit disjointed at present, and to be quite honest they are overdue a win in the derby. On the flipside they tend to freeze and obviously have a poor recent record as far as derbies go. I just think we needed to hit our straps on Saturday, we didn't and their defeat to WBA is quite easy to write off as a blip.

I think a sending off is a cert and Cattermole is the obvious one. But there are plenty of candidates from both sides for that honour. Long may our dominance continue and if we were in form I'd fancy us as we have the stronger first xi, but we're not.

 

I think that Wolves draw might be a blessing in disguise. It was a prime lesson, right before the derby game, of why the team should never take their foot off the pedal, even for a moment.

If they can carry that lesson through to the weekend, then it will work well in our favour.

 

All those travelling to the game, don't forget your Sportsdirect carrier bags...That is the theme for the day..

 

Everybody is being very reasonable and inoffensive.

This must mean either:

a. We've all suddenly got much more mature, or

b. We're all scared ****less and don't dare say anything that will be posted back to us starting 2:00 pm Sunday

 

I think everyone is just enjoying the rarity that is a cross-board thread which isn't full of abuse.

Going on form, Sunderland should win since we haven't performed since the Man United game but thankfully form never seems to matter in Derby games(well..we say it doesn't).

3-1 win. Ba, Ameobi, og, Sessegnon.

 

I think we'll win this 2-1.

We'll take the lead through Cisse in the first half. A few minutes into the second half we score again , this time Ba with the goal.

You score a goal through a Campbell header with 10 minutes to. Backs to wall stuff for us but we just about manage to hang on with you missing a guilt edged opportunity in the dying embers of the game.

Cattermole will get sent off after severely injuring one of our players.
