Detox mate, from here and the club. I've done it before and it's good. But you'll be back, QPR is very more-ish. Enjoy the rugby.
Fin, Fin, come on mate, for what it's worth your assesment is 100% correct on Fernandes, Ferdinand and Ramsey. I can't begin to imagine how much time and effort you have devoted to such an obviously undeserving cause over the last 4 years, you have most certainly earned the right to do whatever you want and to have earned the cyber respect from all of us. I wholeheartedly apologise for threatening to put you in the Thames over the Scouser, I was right, but I apologise, as Stan says, take a break ( or a dip) and come back refreshed. This ends in tears and you know it, but it's who and what we are.
Finglas, I too very much dislike the way our club is being run. But I've been feeling this way for a while. The confirmation of Ramsey being permanent is not something that bothers me much. I'm willing to give Ramsey a chance because... why not? He inherited a ****e team at a ****e, poorly run club. Let's see what he can do with a full pre season and a new squad he's had a hand in building. I don't question his integrity. I have supported QPR all my life and, like many others, it's been passed down for generations and is very much a family thing. But Tony has been a disaster from the word go. Everything he's done has turned out to be bad, more or less. As I've said before, any owner of a football club wants them to win. Does that make him a great owner? No. I think he doesn't care enough. He couldn't give two ****es about us before he bought into us and I still question how much he cares. Yes, he wants success for us but has he truly cared enough to prevent all of these crises from happening? I don't know. in any case, he's completely ****ed our club up and I'd had enough a while ago. Why would I chant the name of a rich tycoon who wanted a play thing? I resent the mittals for all of their tax avoidance (and probably evasion). Why would I chant their names? I just want QPR to be a well run club where the fans are served for their loyalty and money that has gone into the club.
Tony Fernandez is not in the blood. Les Ferdinand and Chris Ramsey are not in the blood. QPR is in the blood. The start of a new chapter means the story's not over! Hope you come back, Finglas
Supported QPR my whole life and it's one drama after another, never ever boring and that's one of many reasons why it's the club for me.
Eamonn, na dean coimhthios. Fan thart Comradai. Its now more than ever we need fans like you to stick around . We all need to stick together. Besides, I still owe you a pint! A QPR fan always pays their debts.
Dear Mr Finglas I've had the pleasure of meeting you on a couple of occasions Eamon. There is no doubt about your dedication when it comes to supporting the club. And I know this isn't something you've come to hastily. I see where you're coming from and it is hard to disagree with much regarding Fernandes' reign. But in the end we're supporters and we support our club through thick and thin, players, managers and owners. They come and go, we remain the only constant. Consider your investment money vise and do so accordingly with what you believe you're getting in return for the time being. Pils advice early in the thread is something I live by too, it often helps on my decision making. Just saying. Be well and I hope and expect to see you again in the not to distant future. B
That's a real shame finglasqpr but I respect what your saying and you have to do what's right for you mate. I hope your not gone too long. With any luck we start winning a few more games next season and you get your Rangers mojo back
I agree with Fingy. I'm not sure I can stomach another 3,4,5 years in that awful division. We'll all be years older when or if we ever make it back to being relevant in the footballing community. From 5pm on Sunday evening we'll no longer exist (at least outside of England). Fu*king Rotherham and Milton fu*king Keynes for Christ's sake??? What did we do to deserve this? My will to live has almost expired
Finglas, it is a tremendously bold thing to do and I take off my cap to you for going with your principles. It was a pleasure to meet you at Wembley last year, I hope events at Loftus Road next season give you cause to rethink and hope that you come back to us soon, I admire your passion.
Surely we've been a Championshio or lower club for most of your life, whatever age you are, most of the time when the lower leagues were a lot worse than they are now. Personally I think Ramsey has been very unlucky. So many home games we deserved more than we got.
That's the problem, Dr Watson. We've suffered 15-odd years of that sh*te and finally got out of it. But now we've been thrust back into that hell hole. I don't think I can take any more
Yes, any diehard Rangers fan is battered and bruised at the best of times but lately, were suffering from a severely chaffed ass, to say the least. Harry put one over us and another three years of it is certainly going to test my patience, not to mention my liver.
Head to the light Swords my lover Lads don't be daft As QPR fans we have always known a rocky road ... It's called soul Think of a Chelsea fan's life going forward very predictable their little blue shirts on the next generation not preparing them for anything We have to take a few to the chin at the moment that's life Football only seems to creative if you create it yourself CR could do that for us all
