Wonder what will be said if he puts one in his own goal on the 13th April?

The understaning and empathetic Sunderland fans;
"Don't worry son, you tried your best... We forgive you"

The Newcastle fans;
"Gee wiz, that was fortunate. Ah well, he got to fulfill his lifelong dream of scoring for the Toon against Sunderland after all."

Then we'll all link arms and sing something rousing as we head home together on the metros <ok>

For the record, it was only a tiny minority of fans that gave Graham abuse on Tuesday night (unlike your lot who hounded Sir Bobby out of a job and broke his heart), and I'm sure the vast majority of our fans will support the lad..

Utterly pathetic.. That is all.

I wonder if Pardew's choice to reject making an offer to bring the lad here, is a sign that an alternative but better option might be pursued in the summer.

Brendan Rodgers will be up for that phone call ...

<laugh><laugh><laugh>!

Denial can be ugly...............

I don't see anyone pissing on his memory here at all - if anything he was pissing on the boo-boys at Newcastle who had far less reason to boo a local hero than the few Sunderland idiots who booed DG.

Why do people insist in reading words that are not written?

I think it was more a case of Whitey trying to use one of our dead icons to point score, something which is lower than low and quite rightly made him look foolish.

Personally I never witnessed any fans booing SBR and many on here will be the same so when such comments are made, fans are entitled to view it as overstepping the mark.

Fair enough Albert but the point remains a few people in most crowds are idiots who boo when they shouldn't - doesn't mean many Newcastle fans did it then, doesn't mean many Sunderland fans did it the other night.

And I know you've spent enough time on our board to realise that the majority of Sunderland fans show as much respect to him as anyone else. LOCAL hero. ENGLAND hero.

Absolutely mate, your board is top notch IMHO with a lot of very decent lads.
99% of all fans are genuine honest folk too. We all have our minorities though.
If Whitey had said... you guys booed Venison etc.. so you are just the same it's fair game but some comments overstep the mark.
I think Whitely is a nice bloke for what it's worth but he just made an inappropriate comment and a few have not been pleased.
Such is forum life though.
I've had my off days too and probably will again.

They must have been a quite loud 'tiny minority',to judge by the volume of the boos on the radio.

God help Danny.

Also, leave Bob out of this. He was never booed.
