No. No. No no no no no no no. Noooooooooooooo no no no no no no no. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Basically what I'm trying to say is that we shouldn't play him. Or let him near the first team. Or U21's. Or let him train. Or let him on any SFC property. Or anywhere in Southampton. Ideally not England.
Don't want him back although after seeing nobody wanting to take a shot last weekend, we wouldn't have had that problem with him on the pitch.
There must be something that can be done legally. He butted a co worker and then has been released from other positions because of bad behavior. Surely a lawyer would be able to get his pay suspended or even he would pay for lost revenue himself. Maybe we can just swap him for a couple of decent prospects from Boca and be done with it
@SimonPeach: Unsurprisingly, Osvaldo is persona non grata at #SaintsFC. He is not even allowed in the training ground.
I think the lawyers will be concentrating on the loan contract with Inter, they signed a season long loan and have now decided they don't want him Not our issue surely, its up to Inter to pay him and if they decide to stop that then I would suggest that is where the legal issues will be raised either with Saints or the player. With Inter looking to sue Ossy, I would suggest they they can't see a way out of paying up the loan contract those looking for recompense directly from Ossy who's behaviour has caused the issue I don't see Saints being financially responsible for paying him until the beginning of next season
We could have done something at the time he assaulted the beloved Fonte, but we didn't because he has value as an asset. Saints thought...let's get his wages off the book and hope to sell him on next season. At that time, we didn't know he would repeat his actions and make it even harder to shift him.

Not that it concerns us, but what must he be like to live with. He has left several GFs and one wife behind (with children). I suspect because he is tolerated at first until eventually any woman would have to tell him a few home truths. Imagine trying to maintain a home life with this nutter,
It really is such a shame he's a complete idiot, because as FLT rightly says, he would be absolutely perfect for our requirements right now. I honestly think he'd bag a hatful with our style of play as it is.
Me too, it is a massive shame really. I honestly feel that his sort of player could be worth an extra 5+ points to us this season.
Problem players, even ostracised ones are usually given at least one more chance by a new manager at a club if not a clean slate. The fact that Koeman hasn't done so or been allowed to do so demonstrates what a colossal cock this man must be, particularly in view of his "value" and supposed talent. His behaviour must really be beyond forgiveness if a football club are not even prepared to overlook past misdemeanors. It's a shame for him and us really as we could really do with someone prepared to get in on the end of things right now.
Osvaldo may have refused to play for us ever again...or the players may have refused to play with him. Not worth disturbing our happy band of brothers. All we can do now is damage limitation. Some might say cut him loose, but why reward him with a free pass as long as we can get someone to pay his wages or even buy him.
It's OK for us fans to say we should cut our losses and get rid of him but if you're the financial director of a company I doubt that''s an option
