I cannot understand why clubs seem not to develop decent forwards these days. It is not just a Saints issue.

Probably because the classic CF has been out of fashion for the last 10-15 years or so.
Becoming popular again now so we'll probably see more come through down the line.

Well we've got one that has the all time record in U18 PL goals for any club in history, so I'd say we're developing a decent one right now (hopefully).
So he will be off to Man Utd in January!
I would like to see the nippers given a chance. Shame there is no Alan Ball or Jimmy Case in the squad to nurture the younger players.
Did Sam Edozie go out on loan ? I cannot find anything on line to say that he did.

You may have found it amusing but it wasn’t aimed at you. Condescension can wind people up and turn things into full blown rows. Also you're posting way after things got tetchy. Banning people is a last resort for me but I will if I have to.
Just read this thread through. No wonder this country is a mess, everyone skiving off their jobs exchanging tit for tat on a footie forum . I found the exchanges quite amusing.
I’ll have you know I retired from skiving off my job 12 years ago this month!
There’s been a bit of talk about JWP coming back in January and whilst I’m on the fence about that, I’m pretty sure he could take on that role.
Completely agree about giving the youngsters a go. I’m certain they wouldn’t be any worse at the very least and maybe we could unearth another gem. Surely now is the time to try it?
