Exactly! I would love to find out how good the youngsters are. It is just a shame that we do not churn out great players like that anymore. I cannot understand why clubs seem not to develop decent forwards these days. It is not just a Saints issue.
Probably because the classic CF has been out of fashion for the last 10-15 years or so. Becoming popular again now so we'll probably see more come through down the line.

Well we've got one that has the all time record in U18 PL goals for any club in history, so I'd say we're developing a decent one right now (hopefully).
So he will be off to Man Utd in January! I would like to see the nippers given a chance. Shame there is no Alan Ball or Jimmy Case in the squad to nurture the younger players.
Did Sam Edozie go out on loan ? I cannot find anything on line to say that he did. I would not mind Joe Aribo having a go up front. Just think he could still do a job for us.

There’s been a bit of talk about JWP coming back in January and whilst I’m on the fence about that, I’m pretty sure he could take on that role. Completely agree about giving the youngsters a go. I’m certain they wouldn’t be any worse at the very least and maybe we could unearth another gem. Surely now is the time to try it?
