Just off to change my boxers Red! One successful lay down and one to go in what looks on paper a 2 horse race. Next port of call is Gallop's fancy though.

The RSA is starting to cut up quite badly.

If SDC goes for the Jewson and Invictus doesn't recover from his mysterious malady,GC looks to have a much easier task than was first envisaged.

FL looks the only danger and he has not exactly set the world alight over fences.

I read somewhere that breathing operations often take a run to get over which could explain Bob's Worth's below par effort latest.

Bold Adventure @ Wincanton next...

Dex - i always Grand Crus may have struggled with winning the RSA but the closer we get to the race the more chance i think he's got... dropping like flies...

Lucy is having a great year this year... really got Rich Lord up to the line there...<ok>

Not a bad race at the end...

Some of the markets for Cheltenham are bonkers, Cloudy Lane has gone from 16s to 6s in a place just because the trainer napped him at a preview <laugh> I can't quite believe how the markets move.

I am amazed that Long Run is back out to 15/8 with Kauto Star still an uncomfirmed runner, and I can't believe Sprinter Sacre isn't shorter than 10/11 with the Peddlers Cross news.

I ask the 606 forum, what horse do you think the bookies have completely wrong (either too long or too short) for the festival.

Further to the 150 yard debate. In winter its a seven iron but in summer its an eight!

May be overweight but when its the only exercise I get these days........

PS Nass...I didnt tip Qalinas. Just said it would probably go off at less than 2's. If it was "on" it probably would have.
Nice bit of training by Moore there. Looked at it last night but for me it hadnt been eased enough in the weights. Was only down two pounds from a pretty abject couple of performances.

Kauto is too short at double his price - 12 year olds win nothing at Cheltenham and the fall he had has led to a soft schedule for 2/3 weeks before a Gold Cup. far from ideal preparation.
He may well be one of the best chaser is history, in fact he is, there's no maybe about it, and this may be a weak Gold Cup but he ain't winning the thing again !!!
Same race, Captain Chris is overpriced IMO
