Agreed with ^^^^ these. DJC must have woken up this morning with one hell of a headache after the mass kicking he took yesterday. Even Sam Allardyce has made a vague reference to it in his press conference. DJC is a twat and a billy liar. END OF. FACT.

Like most i hope that Blackburn withdraw from the process and he spends the season sat on his backside or in the reserves. DJC belongs in the gutter imo. Sooner rather than later hopefully.

    Hull City move on now.

Don't expect to see DJC on the bench for DQPR this lunchtime. :emoticon-0116-evilg

Hoping to see the DQPR get hammered. They deserve to go down after their overspending this window.

Looking at DJ's antics I can only assume that we've swerved a mercenary. I'd put dosh on his getting a knee injury in training in week one :(

thing is any money spunker can make a success at a club ,he wud only make a good national coach if rules changed where u could sign anyone from whatever nationality

So Blackburn will pay 25k a week for 3.5 years and a fee of £4.5 million for a 31 year old who couldn't make it in the EPL. Absolute insanity!
They must have Baldrick in charge of Finances.

Think the 4.5M is 25K a week for 3.5 years in Campbell's pocket, not the actual transfer fee.

He can buy himself a world-class neck skin graft with that.

I don't think clubs/players/agents care about pocket money for all of them. I would have expected that City paid for the hotel but they would get a special rate for regular use.

Why do people criticise footballers for getting the best deal they can?

It would depend. When you are making that much money a week you get the luxury of taking a lower paying job since you are already making so much. There are always other considerations with a job than just money.

Yeah but it's over 50% more than he would have got, and it's his last payday before he fritters away his wealth.

Wonder how B'burn feel about offering him so much more than we did?

Surely 20k a week would have been enough?

    One would think.

I am not saying I wouldnt, just that one has to consider everything. He is 31, if he goes there he sits on the bench a 3 1/2 deal is the end of his career. Maybe if he comes to us signs a 2 1/2 is our main striker perhaps he gets a new contract after with someone else and plays tell he is 36. Maybe he will get a raise if we go up. Maybe he can get some endorsements with us since he would be our main striker. I just mean that there have to be more factors in play when you are an athlete as opposed to the rest of us who have far fewer factors, but even we have factors beyond money.
