Animal fats have been well back in fashion for a few years now.

Better for you than vegetable oils.

FACT.
Even got animal fats in bank notes, tree hugger isn't happy about that I bet.

Oh well, gives him something else to bitch about I suppose.

They aren't happy about anything these days. One of my vegan 'friends' was pissed off about Crufts being dog exploitation. A dog show where the dogs take centre stage and promotes the welfare of rescue animals. Cruel indeed.

I've seen a pizza, frozen one, dropped into a fryer when on detachment up in Scotland near Dundee.

It wasn't battered.

It was the worst thing I've ever seen food wise.

When we walked the West Highland Way a few years ago, a couple of the lads had deep fried pizza from a takeaway on Rutherglen's equivalent of Anlaby Road.
It was repeating on them for 2 days afterwards.
A vile culinary creation.

I tried deep fried mars bar while in Edinburgh! Well my son did but I had to have a bit! Was quite nice with ice cream! I think the secret is to not use the same oil as the one you use for the fish! :emoticon-0148-yes:

I've been away but saw this while pissed in Turkey.

Curry sauce on fish and chips is a must.

I waited just in case I typed curry sauce on turkey and chips by mistake.

One crisp? One ****ing crisp!!!! You may as well try to give one oat to a donkey. You need at least a bag full.

Your all heathens, butter or marge on the bread then Marmite then crisps and if you really want taste Marmite on the other slice as well dear oh dearie me. And way off topic banana sandwiches. Bread, butter/marge, sliced banana then sprinkle cocoa powder on top of the banana, (Cadburys preferably) the other slice of bread and off you go.

Thanks for your instructions for making sandwiches, Delia. Will you please teach us how to boil an egg next week?

As a kid, I used to love banana and jam sandwiches.

Ouch. What did I do to deserve that? Just minding my own business reading a thread about that hellish creation that is curry sauce and I'm being told I bitch about stuff. I'm just going to cry in the corner.

After voting for no. Seriously, curry sauce? Why? ever.
