2 more things, I am not that impressed they put in £41m. It's a quarter of what they have and what the hell is anyone going to do with all that money? If someone had only a tenner to his name and gave all of it to the club, that would be far more impressive. £41m from the Allams is nowt in comparison.

Last time my IQ was measured it was 162. Admittedly, the ravages of Chateauneuf du Pape may have taken their toll on that.

Speechless!!

The way the Allams have treated Barmby and Pearson and lack of communication with fans , the increase in the price of season tickets and the complete lack of atmosphere at the KC these days mean I really don't feel like renewing

Maybe they will surprise me and appoint a decent manager and director of football but the Allams making footballing decisions is frightening

I know if I do not go to the games I will really miss it so I will try and scrape the money together for a pass and whatever team is put out I will support them. Right now I would just like this situation to be resolved, how long is it going to drag on for because the longer it goes on the more damage will be done. I have always had reservations about the Allams but I am grateful they put the money in but they can afford it can't they, I can kind of see where Imahappypsycho is coming from in that respect. I don't know why people feel that if you are grateful to them you are a wicked person for not agreeing with everything they do or say. If I won a fortune on the lottery tomorrow and decided to buy the club would anyone be happy with me running it, would you trust my judgement. I don't think so but that is the situation they are in really, they admitted they knew nothing about football and were not even fans so my concern is the way they have gone about this whole business and although they may mean well and think they know best I think it will get a lot worse before it gets better.

Good post even if it comes across rather strongly. I have expressed thanks for what they have done many times but I don't think it makes them invincible. I certainly don't think it means they can do what they like in the future and get away with making such hasty and ill-thought out decisions and still escape criticism.

Owning a football club comes with a huge responsibility to a lot of people, especially if you consciously decide you don't need anyone to help you with the bits you admit you don't know a thing about. No matter what financial outlay you might commit, there are still further responsibilities to look after the club from that point on. You can't just keep going back to 'we saved the club' if you've completely stopped funding the team since then and started sacking people left, right and centre without justification.

The beer's shyte, that's what's wrong with it.

I'm all for supporting all things local, but come on, this is beer we're talking about.

You can't beat Old Mill bitter, get yourself to The Station on Bev Rd(if it hasn't shut down already), best pint around.

You can even get your weekly shop while your drinking it, just give a list to one of the local skagheads and they'll nick it to order.

Don't know what you mean it's nice round here <grr>

I used to go in The Station every Monday night, every single time I was offered bacon and cheese for a pound(I don't know why it was always bacon and cheese, but it always was).

One night a bloke came in and said 'do you want to buy a flatscreen TV?', one of the lads said 'what make is it?', the bloke said 'what make do you want?' <laugh>

You need to consider the difference between being asset rich and being cash rich. Looking at their value the other day, and deducting the money that's tied in to Allam Marine, already invested in the club/SMC, and allowing for them having expensive houses and things like that I was actually starting to wonder if they actually had much hard cash left, at least in football terms.

Actually you make a good point there but I doubt they have used up all their liquid cash - I can't imagine them having to go without. However, if they have overstretched themselves in 'saving' the club and they really have no cash to invest in the future then they shouldn't have put £41m in to begin with.

Yes, because it's a far better situation to be in to have no football club in Hull than to have one where money is tight! <doh>

But if my information is correct, they were not the only ones willing and able to 'save' the club, just the preferred choice. Perhaps someone else would in hindsight have been a better choice? Maybe their listing in the Rich column is over-inflated and they have gone as far as they can.

I once tried Adnams Spitfire. Tasted like brackish ditch water.

Just wondering what most people's feelings are today.

As things stand I am 80/20 likely not going to renew my season pass. It is a long and expensive day for me to come and watch Hull City, I got to 37 games this season. I enjoyed so much of the Barmby football (that more than offset not getting in the play-offs) and was really looking forward to next season but I now feel like I did in the Lloyd days when I also stopped coming. The Allams will take us backwards, not forwards.
dont re new your pass then plank, players, managers and owners will always come and go,but you will find true supporters stick with the tigers come what may,so stay at home or better still go waste your money watching hull sharks or whatever they call themselves nowadays, but you will be one of the first idiots wanting a pass WHEN we are back in the prem no doubt
