Indeed, and they wonder why the magic of the FA Cup is fading.
It should be 3pm and no other teams should be playing any fixtures. This should be the FA Cup's weekend, or at least its day. Plus, unless there have been postponed league matches doing catch up, it should be the last match of the season.
It should be the easiest thing to arrange and yet they seem to go out of their way to compromise the FA Cup Final, time and again. Once upon a time it was an unmissable fixture, whoever happened to be playing. Nowadays, I wonder if anyone, other than the fans of the teams themselves, would bother tuning in. The seemingly stupid thing is, is that the media foist ManU, ManC, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, etc... down our throats [I don't bother myself], and we're all supposed to be excited about teams we have absolutely no relationship with, but when it comes to the FA Cup Final, it suddenly isn't worth all the hype. It's not coincidental - there's an agenda there, in my opinion.
