Seems odd first of all that 1. The PL season isn't over yet and 2. A 17:15 KO?! The strangeness of modern day football timing aside how do you think it'll pan out? Too close to call to me and ET/pens to decide.
Chelsea really should win this. But you never know - I'm not writing off Liverpool to spring a surprise.
Personally I think it's a total disgrace that it isn't a 3pm kick-off. ANOTHER footballing tradition thrown on the scrap-heap to pander to the greed of the media.
I reckon Chelsea to win 2-0, mata scoring one and torres the other, the fact they are in my dream team is completly irrelevant....
Agreed, the Cup Final should take place at the END of the season with a 3pm kick off with no PL games on the same day.
As long as liverpool don't win I don't care about the timing, the drabness of the game or who scores I just really have lost all respect for liverpool this season.
Agreed that the FA Cup Final should be at the end of a season, Saturday 3pm. Anywho, 2-1 to Chelsea, having come from behind. Could easily go to penalties mind....should be interesting.
I think a 0-0 dull stalemate and decided on pens. Now I've predicted that that you can all come back and thank me when you've finished watching a thriller which ends 5-4 with the winner scored in Extra Time stoppage time
This will be close. A drab encounter with the most likely winners being Chelsea. Drogba has form in cup finals and I can see him grabbing the winner.
Hard one to pick for me i dislike Terry, Drogba, Lampard,Cole, Cech. But also dislike Kenny, Carragher, Carroll, plus Scousers. Hmm who to pick .
Indeed, and they wonder why the magic of the FA Cup is fading. It should be 3pm and no other teams should be playing any fixtures. This should be the FA Cup's weekend, or at least its day. Plus, unless there have been postponed league matches doing catch up, it should be the last match of the season. It should be the easiest thing to arrange and yet they seem to go out of their way to compromise the FA Cup Final, time and again. Once upon a time it was an unmissable fixture, whoever happened to be playing. Nowadays, I wonder if anyone, other than the fans of the teams themselves, would bother tuning in. The seemingly stupid thing is, is that the media foist ManU, ManC, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, etc... down our throats [I don't bother myself], and we're all supposed to be excited about teams we have absolutely no relationship with, but when it comes to the FA Cup Final, it suddenly isn't worth all the hype. It's not coincidental - there's an agenda there, in my opinion.
I agree that it wouldn't be too much trouble to have the FA cup final as the last game of the season and I'd be unsurprised if there was an agenda to devalue it in favour of a competition that makes more money like the CL.
And you'll neeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvveeeeeerrrrrrrr waaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllkk allllloooooooooooooooooooooonnnneeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
But does the Champions League really make more money..? Where is the interest..? Where does the money generation come from..? Am I alone in not having the slightest interest in anything that my team are not involved in..? Are there an awful lot of fans out there, whose teams are uninvolved, that apparently take an interest in this competition..? Or are they just bored and need to find something on the TV to watch..?
