I would be entitled to an opinion on any decision the club owner makes but I would have no influence on any of it and nor do I feel I should. I couldn't see myself joining an anti Allam hooligan protest group just because the club sold a centre half.

I once heard that the English would make great communists. The majority can be knocked over and trampled on but still won't stand up and fight for well anything.

Seems too many people don't realize... allams true intent, he didn't take over the club for our benefit<laugh> and also, the name change has nothing to do with any profit, it's due to the council.. and it was rejected the governing body of english football.. and he still goes on like a f**ing c**t.. and waves his arms like a rugrat.. and carries on.. and then he divides the fans at as well

but the fact we got abel, ramirez, hernandez etc.. certain customers support allam even more... it's f**ing pathetic, can mock newcastle for all you like.. but they are f**ing true passionate fans.. this city and club just f**ing accepts anything

happy and chazz ain't PL fans.. but i don't understand how they can accept this.. i think it's just a forum persona... no true hull city afc fan would accept this... especially if they went to fer ark or boothferry park.. f** sake

1. Very salient point
2. One and the same

There are many examples of similar language used on this board. Are they all meant as signs of hatred? Don't you think some of them attempts at humour, or a rougher form of banter?

I, along with I'm sure many others, don't agree with those posters either Obi, however those people are much less significant than someone who is supposed to be leading a group, he is supposed to to reflect the purported morals and ethics of the group that he's leading, do you think that this act displays that? In my opinion Gretton should step down from his role!

CTWD has been anti Allam from the beginning.

There is a perception amongst the vast silent majority of Hull City fans that CTWD is an anti Allam protest group. You plank.

So he is guilty of having a pathetic sense of humour and tastelessly putting it on line. A bit different from the claim that this tweet shows CTWD are anti-Allam and have been all along. Out of the, no doubt thousands of tweets he's posted over the last 18 months this is the only one they could find that was allegedly anti-Allam.

I'm not defending it. I just think its pathetic that the first thing people do is jump to the conclusion that a tweet about a gift shows Mark and CTWD is rabidly anti-Allam. According to OLM it was a gift from his girlfriend, someone who knows him quite well you would assume, and would think that she knows what he would like and how he thinks. That's bad enough, posting it as a trophy online shows appalling judgement for someone who is meant to be the chairman of a group who claim to want to create a Supporters Trust and supposedly work alongside Dr Allam. If you were the club, would you want to deal with anyone who receives gifts like that and happily posts them online with pride?

Funny how you think it's an attempt an humour, and you justify it as banter when exactly the opposite approach is taken by that group to any jokes or banter from Dr Allam.

no one would hate him.

This infers that you think that people do indeed 'hate' him, this again displays to me your immaturity. Anyone that can 'hate' someone that has done so much for our club was obviously never there when we were in the depths of despair, wondering whether we would be left with a club to support. Compare that position to what has happened since AA rescued the club!

You're a total disgrace!

You could bore for Britain mate.

Could you please tell us what other ideas by Allam CTWD are against other than the name change?

Well the chairman of CTWD thinks he's a ****. You think he wants a **** as owner or do you think he'd prefer not to have a **** as an owner?

How could you know that if they are silent?

Could it be by engaging with other supporters on match days, in general conversations with other supporters and snippets from social media?

The perception is out there and it was manifested by some minor booing the other night, imo.

Is forming a supporters trust, a form of protest ???

Why would anyone want to form a supporters trust? The current owner has absolutely no intention of working with any such group and the vast silent majority of Hull City fans are not interested in this fxxkwittery either.

But carry on, appoint yourselves spokespeople for the fan base, retain your prominence at any cost.

Its a joke, a poor joke, but a joke none the less. People get frustrated with me and call me names, sometimes to my face, sometimes not. They mean it at the time but apart from one or two people it passes and we get on again. Its called life and a bit of give and take goes a long way.

Do you think I should hold grudges for all the abuse I've received on this board over the past 12 months. I don't like being called a liar but everything else is just the nature of being on a message board.

If I was Assem Allam and was prepared to work with CTWD I wouldn't care if Mark Gretton had a flask with obscenities on. It would be something I would constantly remind him of. As you say Assem Allam has a sense of humour, if its the same as mine, Mark would have your sympathy.

I'm not sure if all my posts still exist. I thought you can die when you want was funny and said so at the time. I could see how it may have been upsetting to a lot of people and he may have been wiser to have not said it. I thought the insulting part was telling supporters who had followed the club through thick and thin could stop coming to watch his club.

At the end of any conflict there is always a period of reconciliation. Hopefully that process will start soon. Whether Assem or Ehab Allam can work with Mark Gretton will become clear then.

If McGuiness and Paisley could work together I don't see one hip flask being too much of a problem, but it might be.

I haven't justified it. I've said it is pathetic evidence that CTWD is anti-Allam. No other tweets have been posted, no other evidence, just one example of Mark and his girlfriend's sense of humour.
