Its not a misquote my friend, its someone who's first language isnt English. Read it how you want but only people that are anti-allam read that quote as "hull city fans can die" - if it was believed that he actually meant it im pretty sure the FA etc would have stepped in. Yet they haven't.
Lies? Because the chairman and therefore representative of the organisation which claims to not be anti-allam states that allam is a c**t.
When has he or the organisation ever called Allam a ****? In fact, when have they said anything other than that they're fully supportive of him.
He speaks good enough English to know what die means. No one else says things like that but he bought us some players so he can say what he wants right? We'll just pretend he meant something different. There's no possible say in which saying what he said could be interpreted well. Particularly as the full quote was "They can die as soon as they want, as long as they leave the club for the rest who just want to watch good football." Is there any doubt what he meant by that? It was yet another of his '**** off if you don't like it" episodes.
That doesn't mean his first language is english does it! He speaks and acts differently because of his roots, just the way he is. Dont be so naive.
He's fully aware of the English convention that is not having a go at your fans all the time. I don't know if being a twat is acceptable in Egyptian culture but he fled the country for a reason and came here, he's not in Egypt now and hasn't been for some time. He's in a democracy where people can question his decisions and he needs to be able to accept that, but he simply refuses to. The culture argument is bollocks.
So you're trying to criticise the act of stereotyping an entire group based on one person's actions?
So where does that leave the anti-name change brigade who openly claim anyone who isn't CTWD is a glory hunting, gormless, bollock-less c**t?
Don't be a hypocrite. It's a little bit of the same medicine. Swallow and move on.
Who has claimed that anyone who isn't CTWD is
anything?
I'm well aware that the majority of anti-name change people are not members of CTWD. Football fans as a whole don't really bother with supporters groups.
But if suddenly after deadline day someone goes from agnostic to being anti-CTWD and anti-protest then they're a sellout **** and nothing more. You must see that. Similar if their argument is 'he's spent a lot of money', 'it's his club he can do what he wants', or 'he saved the club, he can do what he wants'. Anyone letting him do what he wants unquestioned specifically because of something unrelated but positive he's done has sold out. That isn't some unfair accusation it's pretty much the definition of selling out.
Completely different to what's going on here, where one person is having his views decided for him by people who don't appear to know him, and then the entire group he's the chairman of is being accused of lying as a result, despite their consistent statements and actions.
Best post i have read for about 12 months! The club is the ultimate, i just want to support them every saturday at 3pm!
But you don't care about which club it is as long as Allam is in charge and it's in the PL? I only support Hull City.
So will CTWD be issue a new statement to the media stating there true intentions instead of all these lies
Another one. What lies? You've got a reputation now for your well thought-out posts, can you back one up finally?
Haha what an amazingly childish response, it must be past you're bed time yes?. Yet the point being made to me was that English wasnt his first language, i am still confident that it was in fact Egyptian.
I think it's rather more likely he was brought up speaking Arabic, but it's irrelevant anyway as he speaks English fine when it suits, but if his disciples need an excuse to justify his bile it's always the language barrier nonsense.
