happy tiger would definitely be a yes to independence voter

Very glad the mask has finally slipped for all to see. Can CTWD now just do the decent thing and quietly fade into obscurity so we can all get on with supporting our extremely exciting-looking team please?

Which should have happened immediately after the FA said no, then everyone could have held their heads high. But I get the feeling not having this noble cause to fight would leave too big a gap in some people's lives now. Maybe get out a bit more. Come on now. Let. It. Go....

There's no campaign and hasn't been since April 9th. What are you on about?

I'm well aware that the majority of anti-name change people are not members of CTWD. Football fans as a whole don't really bother with supporters groups.

But if suddenly after deadline day someone goes from agnostic to being anti-CTWD and anti-protest then they're a sellout **** and nothing more. You must see that. Similar if their argument is 'he's spent a lot of money', 'it's his club he can do what he wants', or 'he saved the club, he can do what he wants'. Anyone letting him do what he wants unquestioned specifically because of something unrelated but positive he's done has sold out. That isn't some unfair accusation it's pretty much the definition of selling out.

Completely different to what's going on here, where one person is having his views decided for him by people who don't appear to know him, and then the entire group he's the chairman of is being accused of lying as a result, despite their consistent statements and actions.

.

It's not completely different at all. As far as I'm aware there are many opinions and stereotypes being made on this forum alone about complete strangers and fellow forum members. Sure, they can't be attributed to CTWD as a whole but neither can you call someone a **** for being a neutral.
I'm just saying don't be a hypocrite and criticise those who are connecting that tweet and flask to every CTWD member or anti-name change supporter.
Many have done the exact same thing to people who say anything remotely positive about AA or who are on the fence about it all.

It's not an unfair accusation that that flask is of poor taste and embarrassing coming from the leader of the group, It's pretty much the definition of a disrespectful, tasteless, contradictory and inflammatory "gift".

CTWD have still been releasing statements?

Yes. They continue to exist as a supporters group with a view to becoming a supporters trust. This is what Allam initially suggested and CTWD announced plans to do so very soon after. The membership of CTWD voted in favour of becoming a supporters trust to help fill the void in Hull City fan groups, so now they're doing it.

The name change campaign is over however. They reiterated this with a statement only yesterday. So the guy I quoted was talking nonsense. Symptomatic of the anti-CTWD poster.

I know you called me a liar with nothing to back it up.

Someone bought Mark a hip flask to celebrate the FA saying no. It's clear it appealed to his sense of humour and he posted it on Twitter together with thousands of other messages. After 18 months of campaigning all you can point to is a couple of tweets about a present given to him in the days immediately after the FA decision.

Don't you think that really is a bit pathetic?

Have you used language like that?

If you're making any attempt at all to defend that tweet then you also risk losing face Obi, it's completely indefensible, whether someone bought Gretton it or not, it should have been immediately thrown in the bin never to see the light of day again, the inscription on it is way beyond disrespectful!

the name change campaign shouldn't be over until the appeal result is announced

I know what you mean but the appeal is surely only gonna go one way. I don't think there's any more we can do as fans. If the appeal was somehow successful and it drags on for another year then the campaign would start again I'm sure but I don't see it.

Would you let go if the FA had voted against you? and allowed the name change to go through.

Why would we? He's in the wrong, the fans aren't.

he owns a football club part of the FA... if he is such a ****ing bellend , that he cries and doesn't accept.. then why not apply to make his own league

he can't accept. that he doesn't get his own way.. happy tiger and chazzz... don't get it

My last post was a bit harsh and borne of frustration. I appreciate the fight ctwd put up but the point has been made now. Much more of this and we could potentially lose the best owner and manager we've ever had. Surely noone would want that on their hands. I would love it, just love it, if we could focus on football, and if that means not singing the loaded ctwd chant on 19.04 then so be it. Its not easy when things have come so far but maybe ctwd need to swallow a bit of pride here for the greater good.

Much more of what? It seems you don't even know what you want to stop, but you just want to be negative about CTWD. Far too many people like this on here lately...
