Gruesome was tongue in cheek - as I said I do miss them - when they were good they were unbeatable, but when the burger was still frozen in the middle then I think gruesome sums it up.

Does anyne remember the premises where the Fulwell Indian Take away now is, I know it started life as a Fish and Chip shop was it ever a chinese takeaway, if so it is a truly international building!
 
With regards to the bus depot - it was not a terminus is the point I was trying to make, its just like it is now in Dundas Street - it has a bus stop outside but not all buses that go to the depot stop at the bus stop.

As a pub the Harbour View is ok - but it is not as welcoming or as friendly as it was when it was the Pilot Cutter.

It seems I cannot do right for doing wrong.

Used to live in the houses built on the builders yard next to old Redby school. there wa s an off licence that had two of the biggest and fattest cats I have ever seen. I used to walk down to the Fulwell end then round to the main stand seats

wot on fulwell rd? racking my brain for the name.
 
Yes, forgot all about Luxdon laundry.

And of course Redby Tuck shop - I bought my first sarsaparilla tablets from there

Wasn't offended mate, i actually corrected what i'd said, i made no reference to 'in my time in Fulwell' in original post, so you were right <ok>
 
used to enjoy the cowboys few pints in thederby pre-match eal a cowboy then to the butchers oppisite for a savaloy:emoticon-0102-bigsm

i used to enjoy the pre-match as a kid, in the derby trying to get a slurp of bevy of the oldies like syd...........

running amock, and cowboy suppers...........god i fancy one now, 4 in the morning.........where's bede st. chippy now.when you want it?
