I find the memory of NC gets sweeter by the year. He might well of had some outlandish visions. He wasn't a people person, I'm not much for small talk or people either, so I get that, but he knew how to get **** done. Kat wrestling the reins off him so she could line her bed a few years down the line makes me cross. He would have told L'pool to go jump in a river before selling them a Vauxhall Astra.

Some of you are forgetting how much debt he put on the club. Then how much **** he caused. Also how he treated women...

I think Nicola was out of control, so I would have taken control if it was my club. He'd done fantastically up to a point, but needed reining in. I believe that he had the chance to stay, but wasn't interested in constraints. We have been in safer hands for the last few years. Nicola was like too many fans....easy to spend when it isn't your money and you could walk away if it all fell apart. He upset far too many people and made the club an unpleasant place to work...a sociopath by all accounts. Would he have kept every player? He did sell a few you know.

 

More fun though, not being Pool's bitch like ever since. So what he didn't know the tea lady's name.....many of life success stories are twats, he was our twat.
In ten years time he will be the Liebherr legacy......not Kat.

 

Grateful to him, but I hardly give him a thought now. I prefer the sensible and decent way the club is run now.

 

Today that is fine. It's the uncertainty that has me casting a look back.

 

Agreed ... I'd sooner plummet back to the depths of League 1 than have Nicola back. (and we probably would have ended up there with him in charge!)

I loved NC , but don't forget he did not put a single penny into this club , it was all ML .

 

I give him credit, but also see his faults unlike sum. He wasn't a god.

I'm reading comments where people are saying he would have taken us to L1. He took us away from L1 in every aspect. Show some respect.
