The discussion was about the quarantine scheme that came into force today, I assumed you were referring to that.

When it seems you were referring to that discussion about infection rates, and are now using data released a week later and are claiming to be correct about something. Right oh.

The discussion which yapping lapdog decided to bring back up was this figure posted by LL last week of 10000s infection a day.

He proved that by quoting a figure of 5600 a day, weirdly.

You argued merrily last week that I was wrong in saying there wasn't an infection rate of 10000 a day last week, by showing ONS stats from three weeks prior.

I've just posted last week's actual stats.

I wasn't in a discussion about quarantine schemes.

Happy to end this one now as it goes, cheers.

You mean the one where you ignored the fact that LL clearly said between 5-10,000 infections per day, and I quoted the latest ONS report from that week (and the discussion was on the 3rd not the 5th) that showed an estimated figure of 54,000 per week for England and the not the entire U.K., that one?

Right oh.

I was in Southsea the other day, the pubs down Pslmerston road there, are putting big tables outside the door and serving drinks off it, that were poured out behind the bar.

Loads of people standing around beering it up, obvs.

The landlady of our local did that over the BH weekend, but someone inevitably grassed her up. Even though she thought she was acting within guidelines, she knocked it on the head for now, because she didn’t want trouble with the neighbours.

June 3rd is last week.

I posted a link to ONS figures from last week above.

You posted figures from May. Yes, that one.

<ok>

It wasn't, you said 7-10,000 day currently, last week.

Hmmm...
Lets be honest, our lockdown was piss poor compared to other countries. The delay and failure to mandate masks are the two that stand out most.

If it's true we are still at 5-10,000 infections per day then the tracing procedures have no chance of keeping up with the spread. The numbers need to be in the hundreds before some form of normality can safely resume.

Correct, sorry it was someone else said between 7 and 9 thousand a day.

Also fully admit 39000 in a week is between 5 and 10000. It's also between 5 and 6000.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's now rising steadily after this last weekend.

No, the discussion was last week, you were provided with the latest figures published that week, and you were wrong, simple as.

You’ve now felt the need to revisit it this week, using figures published this week, and somehow retrospectively applied them to your argument. Genius.

You’ve also missed out the bit when you tried claiming there wasn’t 10,000 cases per week, realised it was bollocks and edited your post.

****ing pathetic tbh.

Last week I was using figures that I said were from the tracer app I log data into. I said as much.

You used ONS, I didn't. I've published this weeks ONS figure as they corroborate more what I said last week, as in last weeks rate of infection and how many people were deemed to be infected. I immediately edited the typo, which you refused to believe.

Nothing pathetic about it at all. I said fewer than 100000, the ONS data from last week agrees with that.
The data from May might not but then it wasn't me quoting that.
