He doesn't think the virus is dangerous. Or at least that's the argument he's put forward in the hope he'll get some attention.

I’m fairly sure as a host, gargantuan vats of lard does not provide much of a habitable environment for any virus.

How can you come to this conclusion with so much evidence to the contrary, bizarre.

Italy averages 37 deaths per day due to flu, this thing has been running at twenty times that for the past week and has completely overwhelmed their healthcare system.

Because he thinks he got a mild case and swatted it off. Bit like someone who's had a cancerous wart removed saying stage 4 pancreatic cancer is a doddle.

or maybe its unhelpful to do as many seem to be doing, pointing to the worst case, ignoring why they are the worst cases, and saying that's really likely going to happen everywhere. It's not helpful, especially when health services are essentially doing everything they possibly can already, its not like they are holding back because reasons.

It's not on Boris or gov as much as us (it was here spreading already), it's been on us since the first advice was given (unless you think gov should have the power to weld you into your home), and we knew it was a pandemic. It's on the media too because the media created panic buying in the initial stages of it spreading in the UK, which spread that virus all over the place.

Since then the pejorative we have not covered ourselves in glory, though the response has improved thankfully.

So as far as how bad this gets infection rates wise, it's actually on us at this point, no one else.
