What sort of sicko tells you to send your kids off to Uni' and then tells them they can't come home? this can't be a serious possibilityI'd be pretty upset if my kids couldn't come home for Christmas.
It would be a psychological kick in the bollocks for families if that happened across the UK. And it would definitely shift the narrative towards the anti lockdown agenda
Maybe this is just all about having some patience
You take responsibility for your actions, if you travel and get caught in a breakout you don't spread it by travelling home![]()
What was your opinion of Dominic Cummings doing exactly that?
Pretty much what I'm expecting.
Pretty much what I'm expecting.
Students shouldn’t be in any way pissed off, due to them being told it was OK to head off to Uni, pay their £9k a year fees, plus their likely £120+ per week accommodation costs, to then be told that all learning will be done remotely and they can’t go out, oh and btw, you can probably forget about going home at Christmas as well. They should be delighted with this news obvs.
Students whinging they didn't get enough warning about being locked down
This shows the intelligence of your average Uni student, they expect a weeks notice so they can travel all over the country to go home to mama and take the virus with them![]()
What a negative country we've become, in such a short time too. Students are seen by some, as a bunch of wasters who just smoke draw and have parties.
How on earth do they graduate?
honestly imo it is ridiculous that nearly 50% of 18 year olds go to uni often to do courses which have little value . Being a graduate doesn't mean that much anymore unless it is in certain subjects or Unis .What a negative country we've become, in such a short time too. With no Uni required jobs to go to.honestly imo it is ridiculous that nearly 50% of 18 year olds go to uni often to do courses which have little value . Being a graduate doesn't mean that much anymore unless it is in certain subjects or Unis .
Students make their own decisions about their own futures and pay through the nose for the privilege of going to Uni.honestly imo it is ridiculous that nearly 50% of 18 year olds go to uni often to do courses which have little value . actually they will end up picking up the financial tab for the student loans fiasco but that is another subject .Students make their own decisions about their own futures and pay through the nose for the privilege of going to Uni.
well yeah but that doesn't mean it's a good ideaIt’s a good laugh though, normally.

It’s individual choice though and whatever you, I or anyone else thinks about their choice, it’s **** all to do with any of us.well yeah but that doesn't mean it's a good idea![]()
