What sort of sicko tells you to send your kids off to Uni' and then tells them they can't come home? this can't be a serious possibility

I’m going with “show me the post where I said that was ok”.

 

Students shouldn’t be in any way pissed off, due to them being told it was OK to head off to Uni, pay their £9k a year fees, plus their likely £120+ per week accommodation costs, to then be told that all learning will be done remotely and they can’t go out, oh and btw, you can probably forget about going home at Christmas as well. They should be delighted with this news obvs.

 

They should take responsibility for doing what they were told to do, then getting locked in dormitories for months, and charged £000s for the privilege.

 

The rest of the country gets days of advance notice that the pub will close an hour earlier.

Students wake up to find police and security guards physically restraining them and saying they aren't even allowed to buy food any more.

 

They're part of the elite mate. Future "establishment" types. Millennial, woke, degenerate trans, extinction rebellion, leftist marxist scum.

Not our children at all.

 

honestly imo it is ridiculous that nearly 50% of 18 year olds go to uni often to do courses which have little value . Being a graduate doesn't mean that much anymore unless it is in certain subjects or Unis .

 

Students tend not to vote Tory. So a Tory government naturally has no hesitation demonising them.

 

With no Uni required jobs to go to.

 

Students make their own decisions about their own futures and pay through the nose for the privilege of going to Uni.

 

It’s a good laugh though, normally.

 

actually they will end up picking up the financial tab for the student loans fiasco but that is another subject .

 

well yeah but that doesn't mean it's a good idea

 

It’s individual choice though and whatever you, I or anyone else thinks about their choice, it’s **** all to do with any of us.
