You really should be more self-aware if you’re going to accuse people of that. Enough have pointed it out.
I always thought you were a bit of a free thinker and didn't follow the herd? Shame you are becoming one of the sheep mate?
PS don't forget to 'like' the post so we know whose side you are on.

“stop taking one piece out of my post and blowing it out of all proportion”. Your words, mate.

I see that the slippery twat Gove has said that the times report 'is slightly off beam' and that the Prime minister has been giving 'clear and inspirational' leadership!

Coming from Gove that translates as , the Times report being absolutely correct and that the Prime minister hasn't got a ****ing scooby!

“slightly off beam” doesn’t scream vehement denial. He’ll be the first to smell blood if the dear leader is turned on.

Course he will. He wouldnt hesitate to stab anyone in the back to stay in a high profile job so his daughter can be tested while front line staff die with no test. There is nobody I despise more in politics than this slimy little twat.

There are, I'm sure, elements of truth in that report.
Mainly, however, I believe it is politically motivated to skew everything as a Tory government's fault.

I'm wondering if the main blame lies with the poor scientific advice?

Well, don't be brought down to their level. You are better than that.

Maybe I have been watching too many of those conspiracy videos on YouTube about this virus. But the BAME question is gathering pace. Do you remember my post about Macdonalds in China banning blacks? Well, it got me thinking about the whole BAME thing and if there is a connection. Why did they say just blacks? Is there a link? If there is a link, then that opens up many questions. We know Aboriginals have congenital health problems, so is there a link to the virus and our genetic makeup... Do some people/races get it easier or worse? This led me to South Korea. (That's what I was getting at). I never said they were immune because I know people over there have got it.
However, Sb mentioned the threat of biological attacks and how prepared they are so I guess they were always ready.

Some on Twitter are already scrutinising it. We will just have to wait and see.

Well they are the power in government Col, who else could you blame?

Or poor choice of advisors. It seems there were plenty of advisors anxious for the government to act more swiftly. Perhaps they close the advice that fitted their agenda.

I didn't appreciate that you wanted to discuss NZ. I would probably say per capita they have lots of space. I would also think about temperature in Jan/Feb/March... although Prof Simon Clarke says we will have to wait until the end of the year for information on heat v virus.
The temperature this year wouldn't make much difference
The fact we have a proper lockdown might
